The 1000 psychers are not sacrificed, nor are they used to stop the Emperor from death, they are part of the astronomical, when Magnus destroyed earth defenses against demonic incursion and the Emperor lost the war in the web whey, the Emperor needed more power to hold the demons back and astronomical working, so both the 1000 psychers and the great amplifier golden throne, which only the Emperor can use without dying, the Emperor if he didnāt need to use the golden throne to replace Malcoder who was close to death. The Emperor would have just regenerated himself, he is the greatest of all perpetuals, but if he didnāt take his place all one earth would have been destroyed because of the Emperor had made a dead man switch, to not let chaos have earth as a demon world. And destroy the traitors if they won.
