I liked Ethan Hawke in Lord of War. Not a big part, but he was great.
There's some other older films he was in that were good. Can't remember them off the top of my head. I'm sure others in the comments will drop them
Y'all gotta react to American gangster
Denzel’s character was loosely based off Raphael Perez, a rampart officer who was implicated in the death of biggie smalls. His crew was insinuated as rampart officers. You can really go down a deep rabbit hole with the LA rampart scandals too. Famous corrupt LA precinct.
The Russians killed Alonzo Not the homies from the hood.
Denzel won best actor oscar
Denzel was awesome in this.. but Russell Crowe would've got the Oscar for A Beautiful Mind if he hadn't recently thrown a telephone at a hotel worker 🤣
I don’t know the reason behind it: director/producer/actor influence. But you have a lot of hip hop artists in the background: Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre, Macy grey
The man Alonzo murdered for his money was played by Scott Glen.
Scott Glen was the main character in the original “Man on Fire” that was remade starring Denzel.
I will never forget this film its definitely a favorite movie of all time of mine.
Ethan Hawke is dope.. watch Predestination it's a trip! He's in it. Or The Black Phone
Now you need to react to Brooklyn's Finest.
Wayne Brady’s performance is spot on! 🤌🏼🤌🏼
The moment Lonzo realized that Jake wasn't going to work out, at Roger's house, he immediately called Smiley from the car, "Make sure the tub is clean."
Ethan Hawke is a beast of an actor
Remember when Lonzo asked Jake at the beginning of the movie, "How's your español? You better learn that." Jake should have paid more attention; he would have understood he was in mortal danger during the card game when Moreno told Sniper, "Que no," which is essentially slang for saying "psyche."
Little known fact that most people overlook. The actor who plays Smiley, Cliff Curtis, isn't even Mexican. He's Maori, from New Zealand. He absolutely NAILED the cholo accent and could 100% pass in DTLA. Certified Foo.
Another good movie with Ethan Hawke is "Alive" based on a true story about a rugby team who's plane crashed in the mountains in the middle of winter. Another good movie when he was a young child was "Explorer's" along with River Phoenix. & one of Denzel's first movie was "Carbon Copy" along with George Segal
I’ve seen this movie dozens of times, but never realized the eses having a beretta like Jake’s meant they probably “took care” of another cop before him. Great catch, Asia.
Taking lives with Ethan Hawke and Angelina Jolie is really good from 2004,Asia will love it
I love this movie 🎦
Now you have to react to the Dave Chappelle skit with Wayne Brady based on this movie. It's funny, AF.
Yo, BJ’s right on his Spanish… he got it covered. The bathroom scene, classic scene.
"It's not so fun when the rabbit's got a gun, is it?!" "You gotta put your own work in around here." Alonzo got what was coming to him. So many great quotes in this movie. Denzel and Ethan's best performances in my opinion. They both star together again in the remake of the great westen "The Magnificent Seven" which is a great movie.
Lol dig the license plate, DRP my initials
Denzel was great in this he is one of those actors who is always good even if the film ain't great he is good
Neto, the lookout, might have been the fifth in Lonzo's crew, I'm not sure. I think Lonzo was giving Jake a tryout, but he definitely had a backup plan for him if he didn't work out.
Ethan Hawke . Assault on Precinct 13, Great movie
One of my favorite Denzel’s movies if not the most! And if you liked this and like Keanu Reeves then watch STREET KINGS, it’s maybe little bit too similar to this one but great movie too!
Hello from Puerto Rico guys 🇵🇷💞🇺🇸
I ain't saying any names, but someone is still fine! 🫵😁
Next Harsh Time, wich Christian Bale
If I were a trainee in that situation, the red flags would have been being hung up while I was talking, him telling me to shut up in the restaurant, the last straw, him pointing a gun at head.
Another excellent Denzel movie is American Gangster. He got Frank Lucas to a T. IMO Denzel should have received another Oscar for that role.
Ethan Hawke had a perfect support role for Denzel's psychotic performance. His act of confusion sold it. Another great ones from Hawke are the "Sunrise, Sunset and Midnight" trilogy spanning three decades.
U guys are THE BEST!!! 😎👍 With LOVE 💋💞❤😘 from Russia!!!
Please react to more Denzel movies,he's awesome. The Manchurian Candidate and De Ja Vu to name a couple.
Can yall eeact to 50cent Get rich or die trying movie 2005
The Magnificent Seven is a great movie, and it has Ethan and Denzel in it.
