  1. Glad Dan pivoted If further facts come to light, as they did here, then a mature adult should be able to admit their mistake and Dan did in this case.

I suppose I’ll back off my believe that Dickey will be a starting boundary WR by the beginning of conference play. But I still see Dickey getting plenty of reps when Franklin or Holden have tired legs

  2. love it when you are forced to talk about wom*n's sports.. They are so woke. But I guess you have to pay the bills. Well, let me ask you this, Erik, which women's ball player would you bang? Tehina paopap? VanSlooten? Who do you think would be good in bed? let us know

  3. Holden completely cleared and even somewhat heralded for showing restraint in a dangerous situation.

Meanwhile back at Bama, Brandon Miller is playing and Nate Oats (and Bama in general) looks like a scumbag buffoon. They will be getting the pants sued off of them soon.

I’ll take how Dan and Oregon handled this all day long over that nonsense.

  4. The Stanford game will be a battle, Stanford is playing well and had similar output if not better than the Ducks against UCLA. Oregon has been letting teams stick around in the 2nd half, so I’d say it will be another close one. Cal is one of the worst teams in the country, if that’s not a solid W then what the hell are we talking about anyhow.

  5. You take Dante and Cousinard, mulch the rest. I’d be shocked if Ware sticks around, talk about a bust of a McDonalds All-American (of course he looked out-classed in the actual game against his fellow All-Americans, IIRC the West got spanked).

  6. It was NEVER a good decision to release Traeshon. This country was founded on innocent until proven guilty. You take the time to get facts, not rumors. The idea that anyone can make wild accusations and you assume its true is asinine. Replacing innocent until proven guilty with guilty until proven innocent is the hallmark of dictatorships. Hope you have the capacity to imagine it happening to you. It was far from okay.

    1) All a head coach, or any coach, should do is report allegations to the appropriate staff or to law enforcement. They should only be in trouble for failing to report allegations. They have no training or skillset to make such decisions.
    2) At best, they should have isolated him and put him on hold within the school. Actually dismissing him was beyond wrong.
    3) The video of the actual incident shows not only was he not aggressive, or behaving in any way that was presented, it shows he was actively trying to deescalate the situation and acted admirably.
    4) Someone was a liar. Someone accused him of the worst sort of criminal behavior. Anyone know who that is? Charges should be filed. An example of NOT TOLERATING heinous lies should be very public. Its not okay that the false accuser is unknown. Is that person a student? Were they dismissed? Anything done to prevent a repeat occurrence? Any punishment?

This needs to end and end now. I can name hundreds of similar examples throughout the country. The actual number must be geometrically higher.

Sorry, I get its football but you brought it up and this affects not only football, it affects everything. Please, don't justify actions based on accusations. Assume people are innocent until there is proof. A legitimate possible threat to safety can justify putting someone on hold, but it never justifies disciplinary action… ever. Not once. The dismissal was an absolute disgrace and complete embarrassment to the school and to Lanning. They owe Traeshon and his family big time apologies and, more importantly, need to ensure nothing like this ever happens again.
