  1. Have to say this before going back to work, "If Disney shortens the PeopleMover by dropping the section going in and around the sub and Autopia rides would be the worst decision ever made by the Company – – – ever." Worse than closing Mr. Toad's Wild Ride at WDW….. Now back to work.

  2. With the Frozen Ride coming to the old Motor Boat area in fantasy land the People Mover has to be shorten to be built! let alone the beams in that area being rotted by time!

  3. Funny enough I went on the Astro orbiter recently and took a glance at the buzz building where the rocket rods used to ride through. The track. Is still their inside the building!

  4. If the Peoplemover does get a second chance to come back, I think that the section over Autopia should be shortened, but have a small curve that kinda follows the Monorail track as it goes over the lagoon. For the ride system, I think they should do something like Haunted Mansion's omnimovers or Doom Buggies. Having all the cars connected to each other wouldn't only make the capacity more effecient, but also it would make it so that when someone in a wheelchair is getting on, all the ride vehicles come to a stop just like Haunted Mansion.

For the ride track layout, I'd like to see it go through Star Tours, Space Mountain, maybe the back area where the Launch Bay is, and finally going past the Monorail station, through a new section inside Astro Blasters, and back to the loading area where it is today, it's not too long or short. Now, for the rest of Tomorrowland, maybe renovate the entire land with modern updated versions of the 1967 rides, Adventure thru Inner Space, put something like the Astro Orbitor back on top of the Peoplemover station, get rid of Autopia and the Subs, and find a new way to do Astro Blasters.

That's all from me, hope I made you think!

  5. It seems like it would still be a very costly proposition to bring it back, even though I would love to see it again. I would guess that the entire track system would have to be revamped. Anxious to hear what comes out of d23

  6. I agree it should go from the tower… around space mountain… through the old carousel theater area… then over to the autotopia queue line.
Instead of the people mover making its journey through the autotopia green area it could be made to turn left after it goes over the autotopia queue. At that point it should be right next to the monorail station. (Sadly avoiding most if not all of the green space track area. *sigh*)
    After that it should travel…
through/around the Astro Blasters building… back to the straightaway in the opposite direction… to the tower where it started.
I really hope they don't trim it any more than that.

  7. In a way the Tomorrowland round building is now popular, even though you can't go inside fully anymore. But you can go on the second floor, which is now being used as the Tomorrowland skyline lounge.

I found out for some Disneyland guests, that is one of the most popular private spots when they sign up or make reservations. One of the two, and that way they can stay whenever they want and they can go off and have fun somewhere in Disneyland and come back. So they can enjoy some meals up in the second floor and having a good bird side view of Tomorrowland.

But most important of all, when it's the weekends or even summer months. They use the Tomorrowland skyline lounge, to stay whenever they want so that way they can watch the fireworks at the end of the day.

But Tomorrowland skyline lounge is so popular, that I can tell that there are Disneyland and Tomorrowland fans that don't want to see that territory go away. Even though you can't go inside the second floor anymore, and can't go inside the entire building. On both the second and first floors, the Tomorrowland skyline lounge is popular to some Disneyland guests.

The first floor main entrance of the round building is open, but only for Star Wars meet and greets. Like Darth Vader for instance.

But I can tell some people don't want the Tomorrowland skyline lounge to go away.

Even I want to experience it myself as well

  8. I don't want the Tomorrowland round building to go away, because I want to experience the Tomorrowland skyline lounge. Try to meet a Star Wars character in the downstairs main entrance.

But above all I want that building to still remain, because I don't want the entire building to be torn down.

Because I hope to First work as a cast member at Disneyland first, I also have a lot of ideas that I want something new for Disneyland to come along. And if Disney imagineers go to Disneyland and if I get to meet one of them, I hope to show them one of my ideas. And I hope to go to Walt Disney imagineering.

One of my ideas is to update the Tomorrowland round building, for both second and first floors.

For the first floor, I want two attractions to be placed in there. The attractions that used to be at the Magic kingdoms Tomorrowland from Walt Disney World, extra terrorestrial alien encounter presented by x-s. I also hope that the attraction can change three times a year, taking the animatronic figures in the main show. And replacing them with three different changes of the attraction, one of them is to have a stitch animatronic to go in there. No not for Stitch's great escape, to be more better than that failed attraction. I'm hoping that when yes enter the attraction, I'm trying hard to work on the story. But I do want the Stitch animatronic to interact and talk with the guests, like turtle talk with crush.

I also hope that the original pre-show that opened during the 1994 testing of extra terrorestrial alien encounter, which was a comedy demonstration free show. With a robot named Tom voice by legendary comedian actor Phil Hartman can be included. So that way the guests can have some laughs, before entering the main show, when they interact and talk to the animatronic Stitch figure.

Extra terroristrial alien encounter will be a Halloween change, reprogramming and seasonal overlay attraction. That I want that idea only to be for the Halloween event at Disneyland.

And of course those two changes and reprograms of the attraction, I want to be the theme of teleportation.

I also hope during the Christmas season at Disneyland, I hope the attraction can be turned into a Sci-Fi teleportation Christmas attraction as well. By using Mickey Mouse and his friends, I hope that goofy can use Donald Duck for a teleportation demonstration for the pre-show. For the main show I hope that Mickey will be the one to be teleported into the theater with all of the guests, and that he too will interact and talk to you the guests.

With these ideas to hopefully make a brand new attraction for Disneyland Tomorrowland, I hope they will be called extra terroristrial alien encounter for the Halloween season at Disneyland. Stitch's great encounter talk as a normal Tomorrowland attraction, and teleportation talk with Mickey and Friends.

That's one side of the downstairs portion of the round building I hope can happen for the future of Tomorrowland at Disneyland, as a timeless sci-fi future for Tomorrowland.

And in the other side of the downstairs part of the round building, I hope can be the timekeeper featuring the voice of Robin Williams. Where two robots, one that can walk and so forth name the timekeeper. And a floating flying robot name Nine-Eye have an invented a time machine, and that Nine-Eye will be used to go into the time machine. As she makes her way through time travel, and uses her nine eyes which are cameras. To broadcast it live in a circle vision 360 theater, as the guests will watch and experience the time travel. As a animatronic figure of timekeeper is at the controls, of where Nine-Eye will go throughout time travel and to break the time barrier. Anywhere in the world.

It could be possible where that attraction on the other side of the round building could be changed and reprogram, and to have the attraction to change like three four or five times a year. As people experience a Sci-Fi story in the circle vision 360 theater, like one could be where they're riding inside a flying saucer, another one where the guests are writing in some kind of vessel that will take them into the cyberspace world of Tron. Another where they are riding inside a spaceship, to fly alongside the Starship Orville. Like from the TV show The Orville, which is also called the Orville New horizons, and there could be another one where Ralph and vanellope can take the guests into a wild ride tour of the cyberspace world of the internet.

These are some ideas that I hope to fill in the downstairs portion of the Tomorrowland round building, for the upstairs part of the Tomorrowland round building.

I hope it will become a restaurant, like space 220 from the mission space pavilion at Epcot of Walt Disney World. But instead of a fancy restaurant in outer space, I hope it will be like a Denny's and ihop in Outer Space.

And when the guests enter and exit the restaurant, I hope it could be a rocket ship to transport them to the restaurant in outer space. As the restaurant is part of a fictional Space station at the same time, and transport the guests back into Disneyland's Tomorrowland. With two screens one on the ceiling and one on the floor, so they could see where they're going and what they left behind.

These are great ideas that I want to do and bring to life at Walt Disney imagineering, for the Tomorrowland round building at Disneyland. Because the future of Tomorrowland deserves more science fact and sci-fi, to be mixed and blend in together making Disneyland's Tomorrowland timeless

  10. The Disneyland Beat just to let you know I hope that they don't take out the peoplemover track above autopia, and surrounding the monorail track.

Because from there that would have to inquire to close both autopia and the monorail, for some people that visit Disneyland. They don't want some of their favorite attractions to close, I've seen some people get outrage when they find out that their favorite attraction is closed. I heard that from my mom, the last time we visited Disneyland.

So anyway I hope that they fix up the track along the route, above autopia and around the monorail tracks as well. I hope that they'll still leave that peoplemovie track right there and fix it up.

Because the truth is, I want the people mover to service two areas. The middle of Tomorrowland, and Fantasyland next to the Matterhorn. I hope that there could be two peoplemover stations or peoplemover terminals, because as you know since 1994 they closed the skyway. Which ran between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, which also gave good transportation for Disneyland guests back in the good old days of Disneyland. The skyway used to be a popular Disneyland transportation attraction, like the Disneyland Railroad, the Disneyland monorail system and even the main street vehicles.

So now that the skyway is gone, and if the peoplemover returns. I think the people movers should be a permanent transportation attraction replacement for the skyway, and the peoplemovers should service Disneyland guests between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland.

I really hope that the peoplemover can be a real transportation attraction, unlike how it used to be when it first opened back in 1967. It was a great attraction to get a Grand circle Tour of Tomorrowland, and a little bit of Fantasyland. However for some people at the time that their feet become wary, and they ache a little after from all that walking. They would go to the peoplemover, and get a relaxing rest and ride. With a special Grand circle Tour of Tomorrowland and half a Fantasyland. Nowadays some people when their feet wear out, they would try to go to it's a Small World. To relax rest their feet, and even get some air conditioning. I'm one of them that does the same thing.

So if the peoplemover ever returns to Disneyland, it should. It should be more than just a relaxing Grant circle Tour attraction, it should be a transportation system at the same time. Like what they've been trying to say from before, even though the vehicles didn't go from point A to point B. Servicing and transporting Disneyland guests.

So I hope that the peoplemover will hopefully service Disneyland guests and transporting them between Tomorrowland, and Fantasyland. I really hope to see a peoplemover station or peoplemover terminal close and next to the Matterhorn, because I remember the last time I was at Disneyland. I wanted to go to Tomorrowland, but my mom wanted to get some popcorn from Central plaza The hub of Disneyland. So we had a long walk, and I didn't like it at all. Because I was hoping to walk all the way to Tomorrowland, and find a popcorn stand.

But at the same time I wish that there would be a peoplemover station or people mover terminal close and next to the Matterhorn. So my mom and I would ride on the peoplemover to Tomorrowland, and then we would have somewhere to sit in Tomorrowland or Tomorrowland Terrace. And then I would go find a popcorn stand, to get some popcorn.

So anyway with that in mind, I really hope that they do not destroy the track above autopia and surrounding the monorail track. Because I do believe that would to include to close both of those attractions, and I know some people don't want that when they visit Disneyland. Neither do I, because I love riding the monorail, and I don't want it to be closed and shut down either.

So I hope that they fix up the track in that area, and I hope that they can build a peoplemover station or peoplemover terminal close and next to the Matterhorn. Because I definitely want to use the peoplemover to be transported between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland, and I know there are a few Disneyland fans that want the same thing as well. So that way they won't have to walk between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, because the skyway used to do that. But now that the skyway is gone, I think the peoplemover should permanently replace its territory. To transport Disneyland guests between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland

  11. The Disneyland Beat another thing that I hope that they can do for the peoplemover is to hopefully build another terminal station above the Tomorrowland Disneyland Railroad station.

They should rebuild the entire station so it won't be an outdoor environment, it will look sort of modern and futuristic. Hopefully to look like the Anaheim Railroad station, similar and inspired by it.

But Tomorrowland Railroad station should be enclosed as well, and they should reroute the peoplemover track to go above the railroad station.

I hope to see the peoplemover someday to transport Disneyland guests in three areas, the middle of Tomorrowland. AKA Tomorrowland plaza, above the Tomorrowland Railroad station. And Fantasyland close and next to the Matterhorn.

Because the peoplemover should be like a grand circle tour of Tomorrowland similar to the Disneyland Railroad, where yes can ride the entire attraction for a relaxing Grand circle Tour. And some can be transported wherever they want to go, between two areas and Tomorrowland and Fantasyland.

And like the Disneyland Railroad, where it has the two dioramas the Grand canyon and primeval World dinosaurs. They should return the Tron special effects tunnel for the people mover as well, as one of the exciting climax of The Ride. So that way people can ride the entire attraction, to be relaxed and enjoy a grand circle tour of Tomorrowland. And some to be transported in three areas, two areas in Tomorrowland and Fantasyland next to the Matterhorn.

This is another thing that I hope that they can do for the peoplemover as well if it ever returns to Disneyland.

Because no matter what the peoplemover shouldn't be just a relaxing Grand circle Tour attraction, it needs to be a service transportation at the same time. As a transportation attraction, because they've been saying that for years and years. But it never transported Disneyland guests, and because that the skyway is gone. I think the peoplemover should replace the skyway, and taking over its job to transport Disneyland guests between two areas in Tomorrowland and Fantasyland next to the Matterhorn

  12. It would be cool if it links Tomorrowland with Galaxy's edge. Maybe it could be another way to get from one land to another very quickly like in the old days with the skyway that connected to Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. Also, maybe that would help tie together the Star wars theme in both areas too.
