This Jeep Cherokee got stuck in some deep ruts under the new snow we’ve recently gotten in the Cascade Mountains. So I took the @Jeep TJ-6 out for its maiden voyage with the new @AmericanTrackTruck Dominators to get them out.
We unloaded at a snow park a few miles up the highway and cruised the Jeep down to the road they were stuck on, then used the @Yankum Ropes to get them pulled back to the top of the hill and back to the highway.
I was very happy with how the tracks performed on this Jeep and it’s making me think they need to stay on it for a bit..

I noticed these tracks vibrate and chatter more then your other ones
I don’t know how winter proof they are but I put sidewinder steps on my lifted truck. They retract when you close the door. They also have a fail safe if something is in the way. Super easy to install, if I can anyone can. Thanks for sharing.

yep nice snow camp till spring but lot times is melted up so nature glue unseals so only get few seasons i like to get repairs done for time before season starts nothing like snow water rock sand like explaining floor coverings or paint vs sideing vs wood vs concert ocean has no bottom limited air vs diesel vs gas human part vs animal horse drawn mules and wagon or drag then came old small cats
even old model t and a models were on some those roads some have changed growed over replanted

Every time they are crossaxled, the diagonally opposite tyres spin out & the tyres with grip do nothing !
I remember what you said about your Tracked Cherokee & Lockers, but surely they would have helped the stuck Cherokee.

Left ol dad for the wolves 😆 but probably gonna add a couple years to the old guys life in the end! But care about hard cardio in temperatures below 35°f it's really hard on the heart & lungs so take brakes offen. You don't want to sweat in those conditions anyhow.

That Cherokee might have done a bit better with less air in the tires. They seemed fully inflated in the video. But not having a limited slip or locker in that deep snow where you have to go slow for turns is just tough.
I guess I thought Grumpy was your dad. Ha haa. Now I see why you wanted the hardtop. Cheers!

Your dad's probably going to feel that for a few days! A simple, demountable step that just hooks over the door sill when needed would help a lot.
I love the rescue set-up of the Wrangler. Super bright lights front and rear, the tracks, tow rope box on back, and even the rock lights under the arches help light it up for better visibility while it’s on the trailer. Awesome. 😎 Just subscribed. 👍

The temps are hitting the 80s and 90s. That winter wonderland is look soooh good.

Casey . . . not only are your videos well done, I appreciate they way you do your recoveries. It's the simple things like the blocks at the end of the trailer to make loading and unloading smooth.
