Eyesight or all your memories? This reminds me of my mother's Alzheimer's battle. In the end, she apparently had no memories but every time she saw me she'd smile. She had not spoken for years, and she might have had some deep-depressed memories, but it appeared that she did not. It is a nasty disease as many are. God's blessing of eyesight is what I'd keep.
