2022-2023 Toyota Tundra engines were recalled, now there is a final remedy to the recall, brand new CRATE engines. This should fix a lot of the issues owners were seeing with repeat engine failures…lets hope.

Wow, I had a hunch, but I was on the fence until this video. Thank you for confirming that you are jilted. 👎What happened? Holding out for a Toyota Motor Corporation concession? Don't hold your breath. You're too small.
Any time you have to lift the body off the frame to replace an engine of a basic everyday truck no thank you I’m glad I won’t buy any new Toyota truck once they go back to Basic simple reliability
We need a "Great Reset" in the world of auto production. This is INSANE Let's get back to the basics of engineering and throw all this expensive unreliable over-complicated technology in the GARBAGE where it belongs.🥵
Will all 2022 Tundra engines fail? Will all 2022 engines be replaced by Toyota before they fail? Must I wait until my engine fails to get a replacement? What if my engine does not fail until after my warranty expires – will Toyota replace it then? Thank you.
Imagine you pay 60-70k for a premium truck and now you have to deal with this at 20k miles. Toyota ruined their vehicles and reputation moving to v6 twin turbo not to mention all the cosmetic fails and plastic bumpers,….
Looking at all these hoses, and complexity, these modern auto engines are literally more complex than Space X's latest generation of Raptor rocket engine.
I don't think Toyota was trying to "cheap out" as you say. Maybe they were waiting to see what extent the problem was. I've dealt with Ford and GM and they fight tooth and nail on even the simplest issues!
Bought a new RAV4 in March. While in the dealer's, I was impressed with a Tundra in the display area. Was nonplussed when the sales manager told me it had a 4 cyl engine. WHAT?? Don't think the stuff had hit the fan yet over this engine recall. One of the reasons I bought a RAV4 was precisely because, unlike the Honda CR-V it does not have a turbo. I'd have to think long and hard were I in the market for a pickup today. No turbos please! Save 'em for race cars.

Replaced by a technician at a dealership with a time limit to put it all together.

What a tragedy for the owners…Stuck with a Frankenstein truck and a kick in the teeth at trade in…
Good, we can finally move on. It was tiresome listening to these Toyota owners bitching and moaning. I hope they can finally be satisfied now.
2:07 – 2:20 actually, I haven’t seen a single positive comment, at least in your comment section. Interesting.

How do I block this crappy channel from popping up on my feed??!!
That motor looks like a hot mess. Junk
Loving my 2024 tundra.

The 6.2 STILL has problems though. Not corrected.
Is the 2024 and 2025 Toyota engine in the Sequoia the one they are having problems with
The only reason Toyota did long blocks is because of people like you so God bless you, Toyota Treats their customers like shit
wasnt the techs fault. the short blocks sent to us was junk
You gotta love the turbo position in the back of the block… Good luck replacing them…
I love what you do for me, Toyota
Ditto, how long will it take for the crate engine to blow? Isn’t that just dandy?

Excellent comments at minute 2:10!

Yikes! Hope they’ve figured out the issue on the long blocks so this doesn’t happen again. 😬😬😬🫨
Glad I didn't buy one of these heaps. My 2018 5.7 runs just fine.
I’m gonna have an engine for life. I just got a 24 sr5. It was that or a mini van. Let’s go!
