This video and the next few that you will see are from the prep work that was done ahead of the public lands cleanup, but I wanted to get the video of the cleanup itself out as quick as possible to show the amazing efforts put in and results gained by the volunteers who came out. So things may seem out of order for a bit, but getting the cleanup video out first was worth it. This video also looks quite a bit different because no one was available to come along and help film, and we had way to much work to do for me to do my normal style of filming by myself, so I strapped a 360 camera on and filmed it @Ron Pratt style!

Cam was definitely quite a bit different way to film, but I had a lot to do that day and no one to film so I gave it a shot. Kinda cool and kinda weird all at the same time
Some people do muffler deletes on their trucks, some people do badge deletes. But the absolute elite do a bed delete while retaining the bed walls.
Iโm not sure the DMV service necessity is actually a waste of time and money. I think the diligence to actually complete the tedious due process of getting all those things checked out, investigated, associated with cold cases, insurance claims, and finally off the books is admirable for a thankless job that can potentially send a bad person to prison or maybe free an innocent person makes it worth the effort. ๐
Thanks for the great video.
Today was a rough one and ending it with a new casey ladelle video makes it alot better.
Is that one year or several years of accumulation of abundant vehicles? Great that there are volunteers to clean up the mess.
So glad to see more clean up videos. Great job. And F the coach surfers.
I miss wing windows and floor vents.
I agree, it is totally stupid having to go through that lengths process to scrap those stupid vehicles. But I bet the reason they have to go through that is because somewhere they scrapped a vehicle that someone was "going to go back for", or such and they successfully sued the Forest Service for destroying their property. It's always one jack wagon that causes trouble for everyone else. But thankfully all the hardworking volunteers coming together to clean these areas makes up for the few that don't care. I humbly thank each one of you for keeping Oregon beautiful. Thanks for taking us along. Stay safe and GOD bless
I hope they can trace the culprits and charge them. Good work guys, greetings from Australia
It's pretty cool that you do this kind of thing! i like that you tried the first person video, it worked out pretty good for you. I've wondered if it would be handy to have a robotic camera mount with a joystick or one that can track your movements for your videos. Maybe one of those companies should reach out to sponsor a video or two.
Do you have any self retracting ratcheting straps that you prefer?
its an absolute joy watching you casey
They do the same thing in Washington State with the DMV and having to get titles and such before it can be scrapped.
Wing windows still make for r great d as๐น
Priorities … the refrigerator !!!!
Hi Casey have you ever pulled in on people that were still there Tweakin campaigning all the BS they do?
It's always amusing to see who and what you watch on Youtube, although I don't know where you find the time!
Hopefully we can see Casey using a refillable water bottle from home! ๐๐
Provided you can get the title, that F series would make a great basis for another project!
What a difference it makes when you don't have salt on your roads you don't even see old trucks like that in Ontario anymore haven't seen one in many many years. Even the abandoned ones have turned back into the Earth by now.
Neat little trick for ya Casy, leave it hooked, boom out and up , cable over the top and lift it back towards you,
Roll out yur dolly from under a completely suspended truck.
Save two movements and time.
Your welcome ๐๐
Is scrap worth nothing in Oregon? Here in Minnesota they will pay you to haul away junk cars.
Good ol' 260 AC.
Casey, once again, you did your good deed for the day!! you are a genuine good man!!
That's mini Truckin, ask DIrthead Dave.
At first I thought it was a giant bee making off with a wrecked car ๐๐
Thanks for taking care of the environment Casey. Oh wow there's a lot of vehicles been recovered, are some of those vehicles from the last time you cleaned up?? If so when do they get taken for a junk yard . How long does it take to go through the DMV process. Yep! Your right it is stupid.
casey needs a roleback
The reason for that waisted time is actually a very important thing.
It has to do with the government taking the personal property of citizens. Does matter the value of the taking it is the process. If they take a penny and it's OK why not a dollar, or a few thousand dollars….
I understand the frustration, but sometimes it gets bigger really fast…
As often as I drop or just flat forget to pick up things that are rust colored and lose them in the dirt, I would be SOOOOOOO tempted to paint all the chains, and gear some obnoxiously florecent color.
I already wrap flo orange duct tape on some of my small hand tools that I keep in my truck that are for very specific uses.
Hah! I got a great laugh out of your "turning on the air conditioning." I've driven many a car with those lovely wing windows directing air right at me on a hot day – they did a great job! A fork-lift looks like a very effective way to get cars out of the woods – no hooking anything up, just poke it in under the roof line (assuming it has a roof), lift, and you're off! Given the quantity of abandoned and derelict vehicles littering our country's landscape, it might be worthwhile for the DMV to streamline the process for dealing with them, and not have it so onerous. Maybe even make an exception for vehicles abandoned on public lands, such as, leave a vehicle on public lands for two weeks without moving it, and it is automatically assumed abandoned and it's forfeited to the state. Hell, if the state can steal people's money right out from under them because of civil asset forfeiture, why can't the same thinking be applied to abandoned vehicles? And, of course, thank you again for being such good stewards of the land, and taking it upon yourselves to clean these messes up – it is much appreciated.
Man thatโs a lot of crap left out in the woods. People disgust me. Those Dollieโs seem to be a pain in the butt compared to your other set on your Dodge.
Well done Casey, I do hope Karma bites these people hard for all of this. You and the volunteers helping out show just how many GOOD people there are in the world, kindhearted souls, but dang, there doo be some folks who need something to get them where it hurts and wake them up. God Bless you for helping out Casey.
The government's job is to take something simple and complicate it
what happened to teetering t onto the dollies with a pair of jackstands? rigging it 2-3 times seems a little much to me
It's not dmv policy that caused all that paper work, it's all the lawers that sued for the price of a new truck when a shady plaintiff tries to get one over on the tow company. There were also problems with tow companies that said something was junk and it wasn't. This process gives the previous regestered owner the ability to recover their property in case something shady is going on. Ca has the same p i t a paperwork.
