You can also boost the damage of the Em Blade by having Nemesis to buff Volt damage.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanna continue using the em blade despite having SSRs just coz it's cool and in some cutscenes the hero is using the em blade. Definitely try to pull for nemesis, that might help with volt damage.
i think they make these games as convoluted as possible so people spend money
