Erick Alyai left his home in Entebbe on Monday morning. He travelled to Kasese district where he would spend the night and would then meet up with a couple of tourists. As scheduled, he picked them up in Bwera on Tuesday and together they went on a game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park and later a boat ride. It was when they were driving along the Katwe – Kabatooro road in the evening, that disaster struck. The three were killed in an ambush by ADF rebels. Alyai’s wife told NTV that he has been the family’s breadwinner.
