WVA can sure climb for a sprinter!
I'm getting monotonous but….. great stage, great coverage….. great enjoyment! thanx again NBC Sports team….. (now I can get into my day–8 ay em here in Japan–and go for a ride)….
A popular international sport and these commentators hardly mention Quintana, they only metion Anglo-Saxon players! How biased!
while it's true that Le Tour is a team-effort race, and also true that Pogacar has lost 2 team members, so has Vingegaard.
I was surprised to see the broom wagon on camera, hovering over Soler. You never see the broom wagon on camera.
But why is it no longer decorated with actual brooms??
Vlasov missed a huge opportunity here
Exciting stuff.
Good showing for Canadians snd Americans.
That shoe and sock combo would look nice with white belts.
Why not just have Wout try to win the Tour
16:56 that's legal ? Doesn't holding onto a car move you forward with less effort? or only resting his arms since he's spinning his wheels?
Hugo dedicating that win to his brother was awesome! UAE with some bad luck losing riders and that chain break.
What is with the face diapers on the podium?
Great coverage! It shows just how messed up WVA is!! What is he doing??? He's got the yellow jersey that needs help, yet there he is again way up front in the break for no apparent reason!! This guy is showing a very selfish approach to "team" tactics, especially considering the end of this stage. I cannot believe that Jumbo Visma's team leader cannot reign this guy in…
2 days left for T.Pogacar and G.Thomas to make this tour interesting or is it a forgone conclusion that J.Vingegaard is this years winner
Congratulations Hugo.
Coverage is outstanding. Thank you for these videos!
Pogacar needs to get a huge lead right off the bat do he can make up some time. Time to get aggressive.
Don't let that white jersey out of your sight Vingeaard….
Arriva Nairo!
Turn on closed captions and listen to the official start the race in French, subtitles are HILARIOUS!
In the silence of experience Nairo jumped two positions little by little ♥️♥️
Great highlights
It does not appear pogacar can drop vingegaard on any climb
Vingegaard has more of a pure climbers build than pogacar
Good to see Hugo not wearing a mask! Where are the other informed courageous riders willing to take a stand for truth & sanity?! Let's stop going along with blinded masses who have been deceived.
Thank you NBC!!
Thank YOU Cliff Bar!!
I love this
Are any other fans "Whooped" after a rest day?
Another exciting stage, great coverage continues, TDF just rocks!
weak 11 and 12spd skinny chains, thats why Phil.
This is Armstrong Ulrich era type of attacking.
Another breakaway win. Unbelievable!
Common Po-ga-car
Great Day , Great Highlights 👏👏👏
Thans so much for this highlights.
Jonas Vingegaard must stay up at the front end of the Peloton to protect his team against suspicious "accidents" that can take him and teammates out of the race. Back in the pack there is not enough camera coverage to catch miscreant behavior by competitors like JV's crash in Stage 15.
WHY DOESN'T ANYONE USE BELT-DRIVEN INSTEAD OF CHAIN? IT WOULD SAVE BREAKDOWNS.
Bob and Phil do a great job with insight on the individual riders, strategy of teams, and always make it fun. Green, yellow and mountain jersey chases, and the other top riders of the world. Really like these extended highlights.
I appreciate these highlights but the speech to text translation is hilariously wrong
NBC please keep doing this. These highlites make my day.
What would be really awesome is if they can start the broadcasts with the standings. Get Greg Lemond as an announcer so we can have at least a semi-decent analysis please. An interesting point that these mentally vacant commenters have failed to mention is that at the start of the race the American ranked the highest was ranked 40th. It is hard to get interested in the sport when such idiots as those commenting impede brain function. I am not up to speed on what the rankings are, since they are not presented in a clear and concise manner. But I suspect every American rider is performing better than the rankings had them listed at the start of the race. Please get someone who has a clue to comment. And take off the subtitles if you can not make them at least make sense half the time.
I could finish the Tour de France if I had my hand on a car the whole way. What was that?!? What temperature is it? That information is relevant and not presented (other than to say "hot") during the race. How about stating how fast the racers are going on the descent. Truly non-informative, oblivious to what is interesting, almost irrelevant commenting. One guy has a fetish regarding saying "king of the mountains". These are highlights. I could understand the terrible quality of commenting if the comments were spontaneous, but they are not.
The Unites States of America was the first country in either North or South America. The USA is the only country with the world "America" in its name. When Argentina and the US had the same size economy around 1911 no one had a problem calling the citizens of the USA Americans. It is OK to say American when referring to a citizen of the USA. American and North American are not synonymous. Using the two terms in that way just gives less information, shows ignorance and demonstrates jealousy. Myself, being a native Spanish speaker, unlike the morons who do not want to say American, give the allegedly English speaking commentator permission. If you mean Canadian, Mexican or maybe Panamanian then say that. Using North American is like using European to describe the racers. It is so generalized as to be meaningless. More than that, depending on which Spanish speaking country gave you your education, you may not even use North and South America as different continents. So why not just say it with some specificity and without condescension? Or maybe you just don't want to say Canadian? Give the Canadians their "props". It would be interesting to know if the Canadian is a French speaker. I do so wish the commenter had something meaningful and interesting to communicate.
The Hispanic Ladies and the Viewers' Appetites
🤢Tried to hold in.
🤮But really have to let out.
13:46. Hey green jersey if you want more points you need to earned, this is one of the thinks that i don’t like about the modern competition they have something that call etiquette and I think in a race there’s no reason to let the people win easily just become a name or such !
All these race coverages are fundamentally bad, boring, no personalities.
lol The UAE rider cheated by holding on to the team car to be pulled along. Come on.
Bob really needs to stop saying “get back in terms” 😂
❓ Do the riders ever become distracted by the awesomeness of the terrain they are conquering?
