I recommend trying to expand as far East as you can before hitting the chaos waste areas, also send Grombrindals army to wipe out cylostra for some neat points in with the sisters and to take the settlement you need from her to get your victory condition, then you can turn around and wipe granny back where she belongs.

I really wish there was an anti-chaos Norsca faction that you could take against the Chaos champions to try and liberate their vassalized tribes.
Well to be honest you only need to kill the high elves not the wood elves so i suppose the sisters could be a good ally plus they have really good units
