Did you see MercytheMad guide to steal all Wulfhearth expedition special heroes in the first 20 turns?
Just found out that the Dragon River is great if you are trying to steal heroes from other factions. If you "buy" another army, through allegiance or using Yuan Bo's mechanics, and the hero in that army is immortal, then when they die they get added to YOUR wounded roster and essentially join your faction permanently. This was something you could always do to get Legendary Heroes, but if you use the Dragon River to make all characters immortal, then Yuan Bo can start stealing all heroes from every faction very early in his campaign.
Net of Amyntock is one of the best spells to tie down the advancing army while you rain missile fire on their heads. Also, fighting manually every caravan battle will reduce casualties which will keep them healthier over the long term. 🤘
