if you did 4.3 campaign may i suggest russia, still bit like US situation a lot of posible frontier, ottoman and sweden seems always a guaranteed war in the first few turn but you got the rear secured by map limit and if you do well you could rush sweden as fast as you can specially the region of st petersburg
Here's a fix for this if you don't want to do a whole new install:
"Diplomacy Script can, rarely, make the game to get stuck in an infinite loop. I would suggest momentarily disabling it if that happens. To do so, open you scripting.lua (in e_etwii if Early Camp, or l_etwii) and edit this line to write "false" DiplomacyScript=false"
You can get to the next turn, save and set diplomacy script back to true again afterwards.
