If you dont want sticky things to stick to the spoon like honey, corn syrup etc. You spray a little oil on the spoon and the sticky stuff slides right off, no residue!
can always paint a pattern over it to hide it. What you could do next time is if you have cardboard box youre about to throw away, you can cut it up and use it as a divider, and ceram wrap it.
In China a broken piece means good luck so hey that means it's gonna turn out amazing!!! I can't wait to see this !!! Are you going to do any graduation cakes ? I wanna make my son's but idk I want it to be great so I might get it catered
Treat it like actual glass – do not try to cut through it, instead you want to score the desired shape and then snap it using both hands or a countertop (lots of YT Shorts on this if you need a visual. Hope this helps!

You should use gold luster dust to paint the cracks with gold. Do you know that Japanese tradition for fixing broken pottery?
Looking forward to the reveal!! ❤
That is so cool!
You have to pre cut before it gets hard. Then it breaks better at these places
❤
Thinking out of the box for ideas of various cakes….

I’m super curious what is corn syrup
Iv heard cream of tartar can help with bubbles
i actually thought that was real omg 😂well done mimo you got us again ❤
Next time if the sugar breaks you can turn it into stain glass😊
Lol. I found the other video first and I didn't even question it. The lantern looks awesome.
Isomalt is also useful but has to be worked while is still hot and hardens very quickly. Nice work. I like your videos.
Maybe make the cracks look intentional and I think it can still end up really cute can't wait to see what you come up with this time!❤
How did the cake come out ???
I just realized I got tricked! I really thought that other video of you showing the “vintage lantern” wasn’t a cake

I would have left it broken, like its an old lantern that broke a bit! I love it.
I love that! It looks so real and rustic.
I think it adds to it. It's a lantern that's seen some spooky business.
