  1. Summary of features I noticed:

Choose run difficulty. Choose class with options for starting deck. Each class has an in-combat ability and a skill tree.

Player card shape indicates functional class (pointed attacks, round abilities, square buffs). Rarity is indicated by stars in the bottom left corner and by frame color.

Enemies are represented as cards that indicate their action for the battle turn. Enemies deal Threat instead of damage (1 turn delay); this allows for some reactive play in battle.

Fight reward is shown BEFORE the fight to encourage synergy seeking.

Pre fight screen gives a strategy tip so newbs can git gud.

Example: "A balanced fight which requires you to apply damage quickly to avoid having your Deck overrun with Banes."

Unlike Slay the Spire which allows deck adjusting as you go, Vault of the Void allows deck building. Your run is its own draft. You can save and load decks, using the cards you have gained thorughout your run.

Cards can be upgraded. Additionally, each card has a slot to add to its effect (add block, deal damage, etc.).

The event shops show the minimum cost before you choose to go (newb friendly – Love it!).
