  1. AI Professor Sada, Pokemon Scarlet. It's the story for me. You do all this work to get down to Area Zero to meet the professor and find out what is with all of these strange Pokemon you've encountered, only to learn that she is dead (probably killed by the other Koraidon) and put all of her memories into an AI. And that AI has gone semi-rouge, decided that the professor's dream is to bring the Paradox Pokemon into the present time and overrun Paldea, and sees you as an obstacle. And when you defeat it, it decides that it would be better off going back into the past itself to live out Sada's dream of being able to study the Pokemon in the past, thus "killing" itself and leaving the threat the Paradox Pokemon could have had on the Paldean ecosystem. Truthfully, Game Freak weaved some pretty dark stuff into SV and the DLC, from saving Mabostiff, to a dead professor, to a certain bear found in Kitakami.

  2. This one probably won't count but the final level of Lego City Undercover has Chase in a mech suit fighting Rex Fury in a Robotic T.Rex, so i just wanted to give it a mention.🍊🍊🍊

  3. I know Resident Evil 6 gets a lot of (undeserved) flack, and that this boss isn't technically prehistoric, but the second phase of Derek Simmons' fight, where he transforms into a massive, skeletal T-rex, is such a fun and over the top part of the game that I feel it at least deserves an honorable mention.

  4. Have you ever tried the VR game, Robinson the Journey? I know it's not "actually" prehistoric, but dinosaurs are a main thing in the game. I think you would like it, if you haven't played it yet.

  5. Have you play the NES game call Adventures of Dino Riki? It a Good and Challenging game. It also have Dinosaurs bosses. And a Giant Snake boss and Giant Bug bosses. Which I believe it based on Meganeuropsis Permiana, because Prehistoric Bugs are actually Bigger than modern days bugs.

  6. Honestly, one I wish was an honourable mention, is the T-Rex from the 2007 Turok game. While it might not be the best game around, fighting a T-Rex with everything you have, while running around and using turrets to help, is a hell of a trip.

  7. 9:16 Okay, if you call it a T-Rex and then a "GIGANTOSAURUS"…whatever the f*ck that is…that's not a T-Rex. It's actually called, spelled and pronounced: Giga-no-to-sau-rus; the Giant Southern Lizard, it was a member of the Carcharodontosauridae family (Shark-toothed Lizards) and wasn't related to Tyrannosaurus-Rex in any way; that's why Tyrannosaurus has its own family tree, the Tyrannosauridae.

I'm not just criticising the errors in that section of the video, I'm also venting my frustration at the game itself for not knowing the difference between a Tyrannosaurus and a Giganotosaurus; it doesn't even have 3 digited arms, never mind the stupid horns on its head being a fabrication.

  8. Dragon Quest sucker incoming to say that even the grandfather of JRPGs has a game with a dino boss, though an unlikely to access one.

In the game, there is a recurring monster known as the Hacksaurus. AKA a dino with a huge axe. In the MMORPG Dragon Quest X, there is a variant of the monster known as the Halberdsaurus. And it knows Falcon Slash (it can attack twice in a row), Scorch (it can breath fire) and Hatchet Man (if it fails, it does nothing, but if it passes, it does critical damage!)

  9. TankasarusRex a Recurring Boss in the Metal Max series. It's exactly what you think it is with that name. It's that enemy from the Reboot episode where the war game and the dinohunter game merged together, w T-rex, wearing a tank…sometimes anyway, the series does like to mix it up with variations. Sometimes it's a full mech, other times it's a brontosaurus.

Oh, and it has those too, brontos, usually as these big carrier type things. All of them made by NOA, an insane AI designed to help the environment who decided that since humans won't stop messing up its nice clean earth, it will convert its bio factories to make monsters to wipe us out.

Fun series, if you've never heard of it. The only two with official Western releases are Metal Saga for the PS2, and Metal Max Xeno/Xeno Reborn(Original and Remake) for the PS4/PS5 respectively.
