Saw the movie. It's watchable. Loved how they can send 20 tomahawk missiles in to destroy a runway, but have nothing to take out some SAM sites…. Oh well, Hollywood.
I watched it 2 days ago. It was the perfect. 10/10. I enjoyed it more than the original.
When I was eleven years old I came out of the First Rocky Movie pumped…My brothers and I "not so pretended" to fight for six months. If I was 11 and saw this movie, I think I would have become a fighter pilot by 15. It is a very entertaining movie.
It looks as if Hollywood has a emoticon of how to survive left in them. News flash to all who work in Hollywood, you have made us in the public hate you for the most part, just so you know this movie doesn't change fucking anything. amazing movie
I remember watching the original back in '86 as young wide-eyed 14 year old. I wanted to be a naval aviator in the worst way. I soon learned that I was colorblind so my dream of being a fighter pilot would never come to fruition. So I right after high-school, I joined the Marine Corps and served 8 years. But I'll always have a special place in my heart for naval aviation. Just watched the sequel. There are no words in the English language to describe the emotions I felt. I'll put it in my fluent "geeky" Star Wars lingo, this was the movie that truly brought "balance to the Force."
Saw this movie 4 times…it delivered EACH time! An INSTANT classic!
First half of the movie was not good…acting sub par…second half was really good with the jets but the acting was sub par. A bit disappointed. Firs Top Gun was way better!

Great movie! recommended to everyone. Also great for kids since no nasty sexual content….reconnect the old good days…..
We saw the original when it came out. It was cool, mainly for the flight sequences, but not a good or plausible movie. Can't sit through it anymore, not for a long time. The new movie looks like the same thing, upgraded. Rather watch 'Red Dawn', silly, but still enjoyable film.
I saw this masterpiece six times. Thank you, Tom Cruise and Jerry Bruckheimer for giving us the best movie of the decade.

Too much war propaganda and glorification of people who sign up because of the liars in power who actually have been taking over countries since WW2 mainly to EMBEZZLE from their governments via the massive scam of "privatization". If the public knew what was behind the curtain of lies and that NONE of the wars is needed for US "security" or "our national interests", etc, they would be enraged and would ensure that the sociopaths could never destroy and kill to enrich themselves again.

I think they hijacked 'I feel the need for speed', from my 'I feel the need to bleed' back in my mx racing days, as I'd invariably crash multiple times, leaving DNA evidence on pretty much every track….'Top Fun'…….accordingly, our little practice track was at the west end of NAS Miramar……sure miss those days.
