In this video, we’ll see why the kid’s are alright in “Earth Star Voyage,” the weird, gross, and hilarious malpractice of “Dream Corp LLC,” we’ll see how the melting pot is overturned in “Alien Nation,” the amazing adventures in “Stargate Atlantis,” and the thrilling fight for survival in “Falling Skies.” These shows have great stories and some even have cool special effects, but have they been forgotten over time? And some, maybe not so much. I’ll let you be the judge. So hang on while we dive into The Top 5 Sci-Fi Series That You Need To See! Part 4!

Any Stargate is not forgotten. Falling Skies yes for sure. I loved the series to death.
I've seen Earth Star Voyager, and it was pretty damn good considering when it was made, and while the SFX hasn't aged well, the plot and acting more than makes up for it.
I wouldn't recommend Falling Skies. after watching all 5 seasons, we were treated to a series finale that was very much ripped off from ID4 (Independence Day).
Falling Skies was/is AWESOME!!!!
Alien Nation was great for its time, but if they do a reboot, they’ll have to do better aliens. Maybe take a few ideas from District 9. Not necessarily “ prawns” but something that doesn’t look like someone in a suit or makeup.
I got fed up with Falling Skies. The idea that the aliens couldn’t finish off a few gorilla soldiers wandering around in broad daylight was ridiculous. The aliens could have easily set up some baby making factories to make slaves and exterminate the ‘rogue elements.’ Yes, it’s the same for most alien/robot invasion/takeover series/movies, but it was just too blatantly stupid. I gave up during season 3 I think.
Forgot Farscape?
Major Sheppard was promoted to Lt. Colonel, going the other way is a demotion. And they do get back to Earth.
Earth star voyager was a huge thing for me as a teen. Still love that show. Wish it’d gone further always seemed like a pilot for a series that never was
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Falling Skies even though the finale was a little weak, but least we got a conclusion unlike some of these other forgotten series 🙂 Oh, and cheers to Alien Nation ^^*raises glass of sour milk*^^
Dont know what is it about SGA forgotten…
From what I can remember Falling Skies was just finishing production of the 4th season when the writers were told they'd be getting 7 seasons, so they wrote season 5 for there to be 7 seasons…and then partway through the production of season 5 they were told to wrap it up because they were getting cut at the end of season 5. This is why Season 5 is the worst season, there was supposed to be lots more, leading to a sensible conclusion that ended up being shoehorned in with a "and we were saved and lived happily ever after" ending.
Alien nation was good but it also shows everything wrong with society today, they have been trying to sell that narrative for generations remaining fictional untill now.
Can you add "Something is Out There", and "Mann and Machine"? I loved both of them, but neither made a full season.
Jewel Staite was the actress, Jennifer was her character btw, Falling Skies suffered from Heroism, great start but got weaker in the final seasons as it got a little too convoluted, but was great for 3 years and ok for final 2.
Ass fanny 😂👌
Falling Skies was the best on this list. The Stargate show does not count as it is Stargate..what more do you need…Stargate..am I right?
Earth Star Voyager is free on YouTube. It is juvenile but still managed to be enjoyable. I think they manage this through a pretty good story, and sets that were much better than I would have anticipated.
Alien Nation is a fine example of how to take a social justice message to the general public without coming off as holier than thou. There's nothing wrong with having a message, but if you want to deliver it you need to wrap it up in a good story and good acting, two things that Alien Nation had.
Never heard of Earth Star Voyager. Makes you think, it's 26 years at sublight travel to their destination, the holds of their ship must have been absolutely crammed with hairspray and hair gel. All the really important stuff for such a voyage. With reference to anything Stargate, definitely not forgotten, still very popular, I just wished they'd continued with a second series of "Universe".
Maj John Sheppard is promoted (not field promoted) from Major to Lt Col. The other way round would be a demotion.
I bought Falling Skies by accident then bought the remaining episodes cause i really enjoyed it
Falling Skies was excellent. Great writing, characterizations, plotting.
