    also wasn't the devil's book actually written by a catholic monk somewhere in EU
    not a buddist monk somewhere in Asia, do they even believe in the devil ?, i know they have some kind of evil entity but I don't think it looks like the christian's devil

Does anyone remember a novel about a young girl whos older brother is killed in a lawn mowing accident , it was about her coping with the past and the lose i don't remember much else if memory serves tho it went into a bit of gristly detail. I remember a teacher read it to us in the early 90s .
