  1. What a great MsMojo!! I like all of the choices, but I would have chosen a different Queen song for number one. That one was too obscure in the US. I loved Earth, Wind, and Fire and even saw them in concert in the 1970s. They definitely belong on this list. Sweet Caroline, sadly, was popular when a girl from my school, Caroline Harte, was murdered at the beach. It became her song to us and not for happy reasons.

  2. It's a crime to not put ( Never gonna give you up ) by Rick Astley or ( Cup of life ) by Ricky Martin because both these songs gives you happiness and excitement and they will stick to your head forever

  3. Interesting selections. Most of those would not have occurred to me but they really do bring a smile. "Don't Stop Believin'." is one of my favorites songs, and definitely elicits as strong an emotional response as any song, but it doesn't put a smile on my face. It makes me feel sublime, in a nostalgic, connected way, and always causes a limp in my throat and a tear in my eye. Fantastic song, but I don't think it really belongs on this list.

  4. I've seen Katrina perform Walking On Sunshine live at a local Pride event-and it was infectious! Everyone was already in a good mood, then she sang that! Everyone was singing along and numerous were dancing too-myself included! It was just so much fun!

  5. Why are all these Msmojo/Watchmojo music lists so exclusive of country music songs? They kinda tried to include one with Shania Twain at the beginning, but for the most part they always omit country music on their music countdowns.
