Kpop songs always make me smile, for singing and dancing. Like BTS and Super Junior
What a great MsMojo!! I like all of the choices, but I would have chosen a different Queen song for number one. That one was too obscure in the US. I loved Earth, Wind, and Fire and even saw them in concert in the 1970s. They definitely belong on this list. Sweet Caroline, sadly, was popular when a girl from my school, Caroline Harte, was murdered at the beach. It became her song to us and not for happy reasons.
Gangam style and Bad Romance better be here. 🤣 Or they might be if they were ‘pop’ songs. For the record, this video has plenty of favourites. 😋❤️
Downtown, Petula Clark
Number 1 was a disappointment…
It's a crime to not put ( Never gonna give you up ) by Rick Astley or ( Cup of life ) by Ricky Martin because both these songs gives you happiness and excitement and they will stick to your head forever
Selena – Bidi bidi bom bom
"Treat Her Like A Lady"-Cornelius Brothers & Sister Rose…and many, many more.
You missed Prozzac with Be As- it's about racism and discrimination, it's about be yourself and be proud of who you are, even gay,be proud of yourselves, surprised that list
If you ever plan on the best movie sound track (presuming you haven't already) the Prescilla, Queen of the Desert, would need to be number 1.
Interesting selections. Most of those would not have occurred to me but they really do bring a smile. "Don't Stop Believin'." is one of my favorites songs, and definitely elicits as strong an emotional response as any song, but it doesn't put a smile on my face. It makes me feel sublime, in a nostalgic, connected way, and always causes a limp in my throat and a tear in my eye. Fantastic song, but I don't think it really belongs on this list.
I'm old enough to remember all these songs.
loved them all.
I'm 66 years old and my favorite songs are " Signs"and " Spirit in the sky".
Dreamtime by Daryl hall!!
Isnt She Lovely? and I Just Called to Say I Love You by Stevie Wonder, and Good Time by Carly Rae Jepsen are missing
I’m learning from this video (or maybe realizing as I’ve heard all of these songs in my life) that the 70’s and 80’s were the time for upbeat and happy music
Dude Looks Like a Lady by Aerosmith.
I hate the song Happy.
A friend of my played it to brag about the winners of a super bowl. Hate it because of him. Grrr
Shake it off by Taylor swift and Juno by Sabrina carpenter will always make me smile
I've seen Katrina perform Walking On Sunshine live at a local Pride event-and it was infectious! Everyone was already in a good mood, then she sang that! Everyone was singing along and numerous were dancing too-myself included! It was just so much fun!
Ok don’t be mean but I do not like it’s a wonderful world because in kindergarten my teacher played EVERY SINGLE DAY for nap time
Luther Vandross's "Never Too Much" need a spot on this list fr
Shut up so I can listen to the music.
"Shut Up and Dance"
Great songs👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
My Girl is the Song of Songs. It’s the greater Pop song of all time.
Left out Happy Feeling in the Air by Frankie Beverly and Maze.
Why are all these Msmojo/Watchmojo music lists so exclusive of country music songs? They kinda tried to include one with Shania Twain at the beginning, but for the most part they always omit country music on their music countdowns.
Shania Twains video (Man I Feel Like a Woman) looks like Robert Palmers videos ( Addicted to Love & Simply Irresistible) with a gender switch.
What A Wonderful world is depressing af
uptown funk made me almost walk out of my sisters wedding 👎🏽
lastly, who tf actually likes waka waka??
Waka Waka eh eh
Wake me up before you gogo
AS your lost love song, I think "Red Rubber Ball" by The Cyrkle would have been a much better choice than "I Want YOu Back".
Learned "Joy to the World" in Elementary School😊
Have you seen the clip of David Tennant reading the lyrics of “Man I feel like a woman” to Shania in a London Radio show… It’s spectacular!
Interesting that 25 of the 30 songs are from the 60’s 70’s @ 80s
WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD by LOUIS ARMSTRONG
DANCING QUEEN by ABBA
HAPPY by PHARRELL WILLIAMS
DON'T STOP TILL YOU GET ENOUGH by MJ &
DON'T STOP ME NOW by QUEEN ❤
I like the Shania Twain song anyway, but this is the first time I've ever seen the video. This is making me laugh because I was around for Robert Palmer's video. She did a GREAT parody!
Did you hear me just SCREAM!!!!! Joy to the world. I will always be a HUGE 3 dog night fan. Oh yea it made the list!!!!
I love these happy songs!
my thought was dancing on the ceiling by Lionel Richie
On top of the world by Imagine Dragons
