In their defense, they've been on the air for like 25+ years. That's a lot of material to anally keep strict account of continuity of lol. Errors like this usually bug me, but with South Park being animated for one, and absolutely hilarious and awesome for two, they can get away with it. The way the show has evolved over time from earlier seasons is nothing short of impressive, smart, and amazing. I've been a loyal fan since its premiere and it's gonna be the death of an era when it is finally no more, which I hope isn't for a very long time!

#20 if it means doing something horrible to Kyle, Cartman will do anything
Many people have already pointed out these aren't plot holes, but minor inconsistencies, but even then most of these can be explained quite easily.
20. It's quite common for a person with a fear of needles to be ok when they're the one doing it, the fear really comes from other people using needles on the person in question.
19. Minor visual differences from the pilot episode really don't count, unless you consider the pilot episodes of almost every show ever to also have 'plot holes'
18. Still not a plot hole, but arguably one of the best things on this list.
17. Trauma. It's very common for kids to repress traumatic memories. He almost died.
16. It was just a lie? We never saw it.
15. It's a female cat, that Cartman calls Mr. Kitty. Simple.
14. Kyle has been trying since the age of 3 – it's natural he hasn't been trying since birth.
13. A good point, though it could just be plastic surgery.
12. Kids can't be tried as adults.
11. Various prophets exist in South Park, all arguing that their religion's God is the real one. In a world full of supernatural events, it's reasonable to assume that people could believe none of them are right, and none of their Gods created the universe.
10. Any event could have made him change his name legally.

6. Cartman is frequently running various scams and has access to money, otherwise half of everything he does can raise the question "where did he get the money?". Even then, things like tv ads could have been blagged by Cartman, he's very cunning like that. For example, he could have promised 5% of the profits from the park, knowing there would be no profits because it would have no guests.
5. The events are only a story told by Cartman, so inconsistencies like this are fair game.

3. He lied about having no ammo cos he didn't want to shoot it. Also Kenny dying isn't a 'fake out' cmon.

So Clyde has a lot of digestive problems. He also only has one testicle and HAD a colostomy when younger. It appears apparent that it was most likely either reversible or as she mentioned…removable. As we have never seen it, I’m going with reversed.
If Kenny’s family is the poorest family in South Park, why does he always seem to have money when the plot needs him to?
I guess they also forgot that one time when Cartman injected himself with a syringe full of apple juice.

I think another plot hole that should’ve been mentioned is Porcupiney being pregnant with the Anti-Christ in “Woodland Critter Christmas”. From what I learned in the episode, Porcupiney was pregnant with the Antichrist because she had sex with Satan, which doesn’t make sense because in “South Park”, Satan is a homosexual, having been in a relationship with Saddam Hussein and Chris. If that’s the case, then why would Satan have sex with Porcupiney, who is a woman, when he is sexually attracted to men?

The one about "Tolkien Black" name… In s25e02 they state that "TOLKIEN" is the right format, but in s09e03, when "Tolkien" signs his contract it spells "Token"… I know that the correction was explicit, but….there it is 😂

What about Terrance Mephesto who was killed off by Mecha Streisand?
Even in Fractured But Whole, Dr. Mephesto references trying to give his corpse more asses so that he can finally rest in peace.
He’s appeared in a few episodes since. You can even see him in the crowd cheering when Wendy beats up Cartman.
