  1. Regenerators are easy they have really obvious weak points which you can see with the right optic the regenerator in dead space had no weaknesses it could only be killed by a scripted event they were far scarier.

  2. Number 1 is so well deserved. Those things scared the absolute fuck out of me as a kid. The fact that as long as one is still alive, you can still hear it breathing, but don't know where it is…ugh…

  3. My first time facing a regenerator was absolutely horrifying. It was 11 o clock at night and I had been playing re 4 for a good two hours and then I ran into one and I was like fuck that

  4. It's so bad that the cathedral monster from re6 or simply the naked fog monster wasn't in this list 😢😢😢 he's so terrifying he made me piss in my pants when i gone to sleep when i was 8yo

  5. Re2 (original) demo. When you enter the police station and you walk down the hall where you first meet the licker. There is no FMV sequence in the demo, it's reminiscent of the dogs in the hallway from RE1. So you're just walking along and suddenly a friggin licker just drops out of nowhere. Kinda pissed me off that they removed that jump scare from the finished game

  6. I mean, this is a nitpick, but I'm not sorry for picking it 🤣 re4 is not the 4th game in the franchise. So when you say the zombies primarily appeared in the first 3 games in the franchise you are waaaaaaaay off. Re4 is the TWELFTH game in the franchise, 13th if you include Remake (0,1,2,3,CV, Survivor 1+2, Dead Aim, gaiden, outbreak +file 2). Even excluding the "side games", 0 and CV are mainline canon so 4 is actually the 6th title. So we can now retitle the older games and pretend 5 and 6 didn't happen 🤣

  7. Of all of them in any game, remake or original, the Verdugo from the original RE4 is the only monster that has ever made me turn my console off out of pure fear lol. The moment that made me do this being when the camera cuts to his pov as he slams against the door right behind you

  8. I agree with the top 3. But you used mainly footage of Black Tiger, a boss. Whilst the very first spider scene in REmake that isn’t even a cutscene and it’s just coming down the wall above and behind you is absolutely terrifying

  9. Neeehhh, regenerators never was really terrifying for me, maybe because I was an young adult in that time, and I didn't find hard to kill them … But, hunters, that is a different story for me, I still have nightmares with those monsters … I wish zombies were higher in this list, Residencia Evil series and franchaise, is what it is, because zombies, zombies are the most emblematic regular monsters in Resident Evil history

  10. The Aqua Ring with Neptune and her kids was always a terrifying area. Playing Re2 for the first time when I was a kid when it came out, that first Licker encounter was scary as hell, especially when you see him quickly run across the window.
