There are tons of other great turn-based games which haven't been mentioned here, such as XCOM/XCOM2, Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children, Phoenix Point, Xenonauts 2, Triangle Strategy, Tactics Ogre: Reborn, Wartales, Gear Tactics, BattleTech, Battle Brothers, Front Mission 1st/2nd Remake, King Arthur, Showgunners, Warhammer 4K: Chaos Gate, Warhammer 4K: Mechanicus, Phantom Doctrine, The Banner Saga 1/2/3, Disgaea 1-7, Wargroove 1/2, Symphony of War, etc….

I'd recommend checking out a few of the other games based on D&D / Pathfinder's actual rules – you got Solasta, the official Pathfinder games, and Temple of Elemental Evil – and mentioned Planescape Torment while talking about Tides of Numenera, but there's also a lot more – mostly either older or smaller scale indie games:

    Baldur's Gate 1&2, Icewind Dale 1&2, Neverwinter Nights 1&2, the older "Gold Box" D&D series (and some others besides those), as well as Curse of Feldar Vale (a new game using AD&D rules – 1e/2e), Dawnsbury Days and Curse of the Golden Candelabra – some very simply presented games using the Pathfinder 2e ruleset, Knights of the Chalice – a more recent game using the 3.5e OGL ruleset, Low Magic Age (the game itself only mentions it's OGL – but the reviews seem to indicate 3.5e as well), Mystery at Morgoth (AD&D 1e / 2e ruleset), and The Qaedon Wars (also AD&D 1e / 2e).
