I think you're right, however: Number 1 = Creature Keeper. Just looks highly focused, a sort of pixel-art zelda monster-taming style game that instantly you feel like you know how the game plays and it looks fun and making interesting decisions with types of creatures you tame and enroll for combat!
Sometimes the best formulas are simple but focused and polished to a high quality.
Not sure about Doke V, but Pry into the Void seems pretty good, Essentures has character art that I like, maybe fix the main char a bit, but as long as the whole battle menue and world aren't boring this should be good too.
It probably depens on how it works together, that it could easily get me tired out /getting bored.
Mabe because I'm not sure how my PC reacts and because of the PVP extra account situation, I'm mostly curiously following Kindred Fates.

You don't have to be like that and I'm somewhat shocked that it schocks some people so much. Doesn't seems more crazy than some other games.
Yep I'm following half of these here and "my" favourite games still come out, some other stuff like Monster Crown dissapointed.

After experiencing TemTem, I'm super wary of Kindred Fates… Hopefully they won't make it too competitive based like TemTem and hopefully won't go with exploitive gambling/monetizations like TemTem and many other MMOS.

Yo Clemmy! Just wanted to say thanks for the heads up on that Ogre Chambers DX the other day. I don’t know if you’ve played it yet, but it’s insanely good!
I shot over to steam almost immediately to download it ASAP, because I really don’t need another reason to add them to the shitlist.
Let’s just say that if Steamy-anity was a religion, their Gods name would be “Valva”, because they’re a bunch of “See you next Tuesdays” if you catch my drift. (Long story short, I keep finding these amazing looking games that are labeled “early access” but you can’t buy them, and they’ve been sitting there for a couple years with no updates, but this is a conversation for another time)
The plan was to get in, and get out as quickly as possible, and there’ll be another game on the backlog pile, that if I’m honest, had roughly a 0-1%?chance of actually ever getting played. But when I saw the developer is the same one making Lake of Creatures, that changed everything, and I spent a good 5 hours on it.
This was clearly a promotional stunt, and if they’re smart, that should mean LoC will be out in the next few weeks! Any longer than that they would risk people forgetting about it with how ridiculously quick the indie scene is at cranking out new games!
P.S. you gotta play the Demo for “Murica”, it’s gorgeous, and hard as nails!

Cassete beasts is gonna be a sleeper hit, callin it now. Played the demo and it's a definite hidden gem that's more than the sum of its parts. The soundtrack alone can sell it
