Yamatai is awesome. Tom and Mike will love it.
Also a Fiest for Odin is amazing and i am sure Zee will like it.
Tapestry is currently going through playtesting with rebalanced factions that fix the text on the civilizations instead of just the awkward mini fixes they have now
My wife and I wanted to add our top 50 (out of about 550 games, so roughly top 10%).
Wife:
50. Codenames Duet
49. Ohanami
48. Silver and Gold
47. Champions of Midgard (matched with Tom. Huzzah)
46. Lost Cities
45. Awkward Guests
44. Onitama
43. Lords of Waterdeep (a matching crossover with the people Huzzah!)
42. Horrified
41. Roll Player
Me:
50. Adventure Games: Dungeon
49. Mice and Mystics
48. Dinosaur Island
47. Atlantis Rising
46. Welcome To…
45.. Jaipur
44. Qwinto
43. Lost Ruins of Arnak
42. Crokinole
41. Karuba
Bruno is the best designer for 2 player games. Totally agree with Zee.
How is everyone able to play so many of these games? I kept seeing in chat about people having a top 50 and I've never even played 50 board games in my life. Are people just full on splurging on a ton of $50-$100 games? I can't imagine that's the case. Are there clubs where people play games together for free?
All the text on pax pamir cards is fluff!
I think I saw somewhere that Isaac mentioned wanting to make the map books for GH and FH, but the production would take a few years and they would focus on it after the FH launch and the "Monster Minis" campaign
The Principality of Sealand is a real place off the coast of eastern England, I live really close to there and it has a genuinely fascinating history 😂
I am with Zee here… Bruno Cathala IS the best designeR there is.
On a different note, am I the only one that liked Rebellion more with out the expansion? I mean, the expansion is fine, but it just makes the battles a little longer sometimes and I rather concentrate in the other aspects of the game (plus new heroes are kind of meh 🤣)
Visit Europa? What the heck, guys! ATTEMPT NO LANDING THERE!
I will now only refer to traditional worker placement games as having regressive worker placement, not to be confused with the progressive worker placement from Architects
Does zee own any other sweaters?
He has been wearing the same one in I think every video from the top 100
You should do some fundrising with a goal like that:
– Zee would play TMB, Feast for Odin and Twilight Imperium
– Tom would play Vinhos, Terra Mystica and Pax Pamir
I would gladly contribute. 😉
28:46 zee is confusing the game discussed with 'Raiders of Pithya'
Shout-out to Mike for having a good taste in games! Pax Pamir is goated
Zee's stint as the voice of the people made me laugh out loud at work… bravo!
Red Rising is my favorite Stonemaier Game…
man I love Yamatai. But if it's going for $400 I can part with it.
Can the "(insert country) is now my favorite" gag stop? I get its tied to super chats and feeds off the audience, but it really destroys the quality of the video and future playability.
1/40: Deception: Murder in Hong Kong
Factory Funner & Grand Carnival are great games!!
I’m so impressed by Mike’s general knowledge. Most Americans I met barely knew where Canada is, but Mike knows that Quebec is a province and what language we speak 😮 Bravo 👏 👏 👏
How do I do a superchat? I've never done one before, but I'm very excited to have Tom state that 'western' Pennsylvania is the best state in the Universe.
You guys need to listen to Mike and give Pax Pamir 2nd edition a try!
Dear Tom
Just a couple episodes ago I complained about your silly voices thing for the people. Man, I really appreciated this episode. So, thank you and keep rocking your hat collection. This never gets old and the hats neither…. 😎
I describe Architects of the West Kingdom as a worker investment game and Raiders of the North Sea as a worker replacement game.
Man every time they talk about the series of games including raiders, architects, etc I want to get every one of them. Never had a chance to try any! It sounds like there’s so much to enjoy
I'm in favor of a DT Midwest! We need a satellite office over here!
Tom says: "No way an expansion would make the game better for me. I am a purist." A couple of minutes before he talks about how expansion for Raiders of the North Sea makes the game better for him. Lmao
I would like to see a lighter feast for Odin.
Totally onboard with Mike's #43. I like, not love, the other Garphill Games but oh boy did I love this one! Best game from the studio so far. Very keen for their next titles.
Yamatai is a great game, and it’s criminally overlooked. It got crapped on because it kept getting compared to Five Tribes, but the two games are nothing alike, so I don’t know why people kept making the comparison. It’s very well balanced, and so you can take just about any strategy and if you play your turns well, you’ll be competitive. I’ve played it countless times, and I’ve never seen a player win the exact same way twice. This is one of my favorites of all time. I’d love to play it with Zee and Mike.
Back once again handing out points (they matter so so much) to the host(s) and people if they have a game I pick to be the best one for each entry.
Mike: 2 points (14 total), 50, 43, Architects of the West Kingdom, Wayfarers of the South Tigris

Tom: 1 point (13 total), 49, Vagrantsong
