Greetings! Terracotta Army in Shaanxi, China is considered as one of the top 10 wonders of the world and is arguably the best known attraction in China. The museum hosting the terracotta army is located in Lintong County, about one-hour drive from downtown Xi’an, which itself has been the capital city for over 10 dynasties throughout the 2,000+ years history of China. Currently, there are three excavation sites open to tourists and each of them has different archeological findings and thus bears different historical meaning within the context of the Qin dynasty, when China was unified as a country over 2,000 years ago.
