Nasa has a light speed propulsion system so it won't take that long. And how do we really know whats it like in space, nasa and the military/AF don't want people going up there and try everything to stop the mission, and they won't want people to see what they have up there that people don't know about, EG, space force, alien bases on the moon, and just aliens and ufos.
They don;t and epn't want the people to know the truth.

Humans shouldn't be allowed to colonize other planets unless they can learn to take care of and coexist with nature on their own. Otherwise, it will just be a repetitive process of greed, using up resources until there is no more and having to do it all over again. I can't support that.

This is certainly interesting. Staying in a different world would be so much cooler, especially if we travelled after knowing what life on earth is like. A new change, new environment, and new lifestyle sounds so interesting. A new planet will be filled with adventures, curiosities etc.

In Power Rangers in Space there was a colony of people that boarded there Terra Venture spaceship in search of a planet that can sustain human life, but I'm pretty sure it ends up crashing before it ever found a planet
the approx 30⁰ C (85⁰ f) on Mars can be found only in the mid summer and along the equator. so technically one could just walk around with minimal protection as opposed to a full space suit, but due to the almost 0 atm pressure, touching stuff with bare hands might not be too comfortable
