You did it again, my friend. These are some great videos here. Nighttime tornadoes are some of the worst.
3:53 OMG WHAT A MONSTER 😢😮
6:08 My question exactly. I know there have been some small tornado outbreaks since then but what scares me is another Super Outbreak. It’s been awhile 😢
Round of applause for the Doctor, keepin us dosed with content.
Hi @Doctor Prowl, in the premiere stream this morning (Jan 29th) I had mentioned the Rolling Forks tornado. I had provided the incorrect storm chaser channel, it's this one by YouTube channel Tornado Warned and the title of the video ' The Most Devastating Tornado I Have Ever Chased – Rolling Fork, Mississippi – A Documentary [4K] '
I know it can be tempting to want to record a tornado from close up, but please be responsible and take shelter.
Oklahoma gets huge Tornadoes. That tornado was a monster. I was gonna say those trucks are done.
You've done it again Dr. Prowl!! Amazing footage.
17:23 im sorry but what I thought the Bowling Green, Kentucky, tornado was EF-4 instead of EF-3. Did they downgrade it? If so then when did they downgrade this tornado?
Thanks for always telling us the source/location of the tornado! A lot of people put clips together, but I never know where/when they are, or which famous tornado it is
Lol that tanker wasn't sucked in to the tornado, he drove straight into the side of it 😂
Joplin was a "low end EF-5"?? That's the first time I've ever heard that before.
Thanks for the compilation
Love tuning in for some scary tornado videos, as they are the reason I am fascinated with weather. I always wanted to be a storm chaser when i was younger.
All these tornadoes in 2024 were the most absolutely horrific.
Thumbs UP.
One of my buddies was in the Joplin, Missouri Tornado. He moved here because he and his family lost EVERYTHING. He told me the story one night. He said his family got up that morning, thinking that something just felt "off". He said that right before it his house, you could hear the "train roaring" sound and they ran to the cellar. He tried to keep everyone calm but it was like a bomb going off all around them! He said it felt like an eternity for it to stop. When it got calm, he noticed rain pouring down in what was the basement.
He says now whenever he hears thunder or the wind picks up, he gets panicky. Poor guy has PTSD, now. Thank you for this video. Its important to show people and educate us on how to remain safe during tornadoes.
8:00 so this trucker just went " ima head straight into hell! les go!" or what???
Was Reed Timer driving that semi ? !.😅
Good footage
These videos are awesome, this channel is awesome. But as an added bonus, these videos are perfect for bedtime. Always makes me Very drowsy 😴
8:31 After being sucked 😂
I'm a sucker for learning how Tornadoes work, behave, and how they form.
The Mayfield tornado still freaks me out. That storm was about 10-15 minutes away from hitting my town of about 50k residents when it finally lifted and we were spared. We would have literally been wiped off the map if it had held together. Scary night that’s for sure.
It's kinda weird hearing you regarding Joplin as a "low end EF-5 tornado." Being a mile wide tornado with over 200 mph wind speeds and causing consistent EF-4 to EF-5 damage, destroying 8,000 buildings and completely removing homes to the slab as it was on the ground for 40 min, it's kind of hard to say low end at that point. Especially when looking at the damage. With some context, the Jarrell, TX tornado had wind speed of over 300, destroying 40 homes and 38 structures, doing most of it's damage (which truly devastating) to the Double Creek Estates area, but was only on the ground for 13 min. Remember the EF scale rates damage not wind speed. People do tend to squabble over construction quality when talking about what a tornado should be rated, but the damage to and around the ST. Johns hospital area was crazy imo. To twist that hospital off it's foundation about 4 inches is pretty impressive. Love your channel.
The second video was like the 2024's version of "Smokey and the Bandit" except this time they lost! Old "East bound and down" wasn't going to come in second place to some ordinary looking rig, oh nooo… if anybody's getting all up in that 'nator, you know damn-well he is!! 😄
Tornadoes are no joke
Love me some Doctor Prowl. More… please, sir.
Whenever i see a “tornado crossing road” video just like that Nevada, Iowa one, im always a little confused as to why people keep driving. Ive never been in that situation before, but from an outsiders perspective, at first sight of a tornado by the highway, I would be stopping my car! Are people just unaware of the direction theyre heading? Or do they think they can drive through it? In the Nevada video, the semi literally drives right into the cloud of debris
The semi driver: “I sense danger, but perhaps I’ll live”
Michael lynn has excellent footage of the Moore EF5 starting from the other side of the cop's location on the exact same road (you even see him cross the same Taco Bell in his footage). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KTS1ITUTFs
That is actually the second time Nashville's downtown has been hit by a tornado. In 1998, it got hit directly in the daytime.
Ugh I love your tornado videos. Keep it up! 👍
Funny thing about Nashville. I live in Memphis and every time I EVER traveled to or through Nashville they had a tornado warning. EVERY SINGLE TIME. lmao
The El Reno Monster definitely had EF-5 strength, fortunately, it was mostly over fields, but had it kept going East, it would have definitely destroyed Oklahoma City
scariest footage from the kentucky mayfield tornado was the video by Eddie Knight
