The Warhammer franchise is full of ludicrously powerful characters. and it makes sense, because it seems like just about everything in this universe Is designed to kill you in the most horrifying way imaginable. but despite the plethora of transhuman super soldiers, golden demigod guardians, Immortal killing machines and Masters of the psychic arts, there are entities that dwell just beyond the stars that make them all look like ants by comparison. beings of unimaginable destructive potential that can sunder entire worlds and unleash Legions of terrifying armies at a whim. from the chaos gods to the star Gods known as the Catan, from the master of mankind to a pair of bumbling orks dietys too busy fighting each other to do much of anything else, these are the top 10 most powerful entities in the entire Warhammer 40K franchise. apologies if my voice is a little raspy and this one I’m actually getting over a cold.

War Thunder is a highly detailed vehicle combat game containing over 2000 playable tanks, aircrafts and ships spanning over 100 years of development. Immerse yourself completely in dynamic battles with an unparalleled combination of realism and approachability.

  1. I'm not sure about strongest ever, but The Many armed-god might be something to watch. If the tau and their more warp present subjects created a minor god by accident, what happens when they get converts with a greater warp pesence? What happens if the ethereals decide to INTENTIONALLY game the system by encouraging mass belief in a benevolent personification of the greater good? The tau's entire schitck is rapid technological and scientific advancement.

So what if they do the appropriate research on the warp and how it works and figure out how to empower their very own God of Order? Hell, merely getting to the point where it can reliably move their armada's across the war without attracting demons would be huge. I don't know what a god of practicality and logic looks like, I doubt there would be demon princes or angels. But opening up suspiciously convenient startide nexuses exactly when and where Tau need them? Sparking moments of divine inspiration in researchers that help them gain new scientific insights like "how does necrodermis work?" "could we create a device that disrupts the tyranid hivemind?" or 'what if we made our own orks that were genetically incapable of harming us?'

It might not win any godly contests of strength, but some mysterious ways here and there to one of the most technically gifted factions in the setting could become one hell of a monkey wrench.

  2. Wes you magnificent beast! I love your migration to Youtube buddy! This video was very fun and insightful! I love your deep dives and unique perspectives. So often the other youtubers in this area just do synopsis of what's in the books, I love your take on things. Keep doing what you're doing!

I'd love to see you're speculation based on items in the lore. For example, I've heard people talk about how Marneus Calgar could potentially fall to Chaos. Or that 10th edition could lead to a Civil War in the Imperium. If there's any merit to any of this, I'd love to see your take on it man.

  3. I never thought about the Tyranid Hivemind beind the most powerful thing in 40k, but yeah, I can definiitely see it now. What a fantastic video!

Also, I wanted to ask, where did you find the image at around 27:1527:42? It's an absolutely gorgeous take on the God Emperor of Mankind.

  5. So after a year of consuming lore on Youtube I would put my knowledge at a 3/10 (an true expert might laugh and tell me thatI am still from a 3).

In terms of the tabletop, I am a comfortable 0/10 and have absolutely no interest in the game or the models. However, I would like to know out of interest, is there any way to play where you have the 4 chaos gods on the table at the same time?

  6. Amazing video.. Though on Nurgle, I don't think the cycle of life and death is paused for Nurgle's followers persay.. More on the aspect of "followers granted the blessing to live through endless cycles". Heck, who's to say nurgle marine won't die to single bolter round to head? It's just that you really need to rend that pus and virus ridden body asunder to make that death really stick.

And as Ork player.. I say that worshipping Gork and Mork does bring its boons. Since orks work on their own WAAAGH energy, there aren't demons and such. Practicing worship AKA chopping, stabbing, looting, bashing, eating, sleeping and sometimes sneaking is all that takes to reap in the boons of ork gods; Getting bigger, stronger, faster and smarter. Simple and very orky!

  7. I really hope Henry Cavill plays the Emporer.

I mean, who else could pull it off?

I hope the first season of his series tell the backstories of all the Primarchs. And then the second has the Primarchs leading their legion. And then last few season go in on the Horus Heresy.

  8. In End of Eternity (book 7 of siege of terra), Vulcan finds a murderous harlequin mask on the floor of the Webway, on his way to find and kill Magnus. Malcador has told him his "intent matters" to guide Vulcan's way in the Webway. But it's implied that Cegorach actually helped Vulkan find Magnus (Vulkan also sees acrobatic shadows following him, but never engaging him).

  9. Y'know what I find funny about the Tyranids; They are said to be the strongest faction. Yet from all the stuff I hear they always either seem to lose or be shown in kind of dull way. Also they never actually get a big win and are used more of punching bag in 40K. That's just me though.

  10. The one thing I absolutely cannot stand about 40k lore is how obscenely overpowered the Tyranids are. Like no matter what happens later in the story, even if every other faction were to fight the Tyranids together, the Tyranids will still eventually win. I liked that warhammer was an everlasting stalemate but the Tyranids totally kill that aspect for the story…

  11. In french we don't say "Gork si brutaly cunning and Mork is cunningly brutal" because we don't have an equivalent for "cunningly", so we describe Gork and Mork we say : "Gork est brutale… mais rusé ! Et Mork est Rusée… mais brutale ! et c'est pas pareil !" so translated in english it's mean "Gork is brutal… but cunning! And Mork is Cunning… but brutal! and it's not the same!"
