The truce Mothra set between Kong and Godzilla is almost as similar as the truce Mothra’s Larva set between Godzilla and Rodan in Ghidorah The Three Headed Monsters back in the 60’s.
It's funny how critics and fans alike can hate so much on this film. The movie is meant for the true Monsterverse and Showa Era fans, not you guys. Also, that final brawl in Rio De Janeiro was fucking badass.

I wish both of these franchises…current American versions…had stuck with the darker tones of their origins. It's painfully obvious they sold out to the garbage toy companies (Mattel/MEGA, Playmates), to capture the larger market. Watching Kong : Skull Island , followed by the last 2 Kong + Godzilla flicks doesn't even look or feel connected, tonally or visually.

Godzilla unleashing an Electromagnetic Pulse after absorbing the Nuclear Reactor's radiation was visually stunning. Basically a controlled Thermonuclear Godzilla.
You know i kinda realised that when godzilla is charging up his beam on skar king, he poses like the jesus statue thats in the city he’s in. He probably knew that the statue was special so he was like “yeah im the real king”
I'll never forget the moment when all the apes started chanting and bellowing at the start of Kong's first fight with the Skar King. It was like orcs from Warcraft cheering for a Mak'gora.
Kong getting that super-cool metal arm attachment is a favorite of mine, too.

Some of my favorite scenes where Godzilla’s battle with both Tiamat and Shimo although both fights were short I still loved it however correct if I’m wrong I believe it is said in the Novelization that Godzilla used his blue nuclear pulse to injure Tiamat and free himself and then he used his supercharged atomic breath to slice her
As for the Shimo battle gotta admit I love how Godzilla was wrestling with her despite being bigger like that part in Brazil where charged at her and I don’t know whether Godzilla was grabbing her neck or Shimo was biting his right arm and pushing him back it’s too fast and I can’t see but it would’ve been better if there was a beam clash between two and there was another rumor which said Godzilla is gonna do his classic drop kick on Shimo while in the anti gravity hollow earth battle sadly neither of those rumors came to be true hopefully they will happen in the next MV movie
Many believe Godzilla was getting powered up for Kong, thing is he was powering up for Skar and kill them all once and for all. Kong was another side quest lol.
And the award for the best use of weapon in a movie is…😂👍

First movie that Godzilla can truly seem to rule as undefeated king, even fighting against two kaijus doesn't seem to trouble him much

This movie is just a highschool drama about kong trying to find his place in the world, godzilla being the school bully but protects kong, and mothra is the bullys gf that tollerates her man's shit but still puts him in check
this movie is absolute dogshit. remember batman and robin with arnold Schwarzenegger "directed" by joel schumacher? yeh, this is like that but even worse. camp direction, kitsch art direction and shallow characters. literally not worth watching. utter irredeemable dogshit. it's an insult to audiences because it doesn't even take itself seriously so why the fuck should anybody else? cash grab bullshit.

I love me a great all out Monster battle and Godzilla X Kong delivered with flying colors! The tag team battle in Rio has to be my favorite, with the battle in Hollow Earth, and the Egypt battle as the runner ups. I was cheering like a sports fan during the final battle, it was SO good!
Kong willin to get Godzilla to the hollow earth by any means including dragging him is pure comedy
