His wife found out, and filed for divorce.

Of all the celebrity deaths last year, this one probably hurt the most. Not only was JDF, and Power Rangers in general, a big part of my childhood, but it (ironically) atually helped me get through my dad's suicide.

Fin fact: Tommy wasn’t suppose to be the white ranger. JDF was suppose to star as Adam Steele in a new show called Cybertron using footage from Metal Heroes like how Power Rangers does with Super Sentai. Someone else suppose to be the white ranger. Cybertron didn’t happen and instead JDF returned to the Power Rangers and Cybertron became VR Troopers and the actor who played Ryan Steele in VR Troopers was the one that was gonna be the new white ranger. Ironically that same actor was the voice actor for the gold zero ranger before Jason returned and became the gold zero ranger

I am a 34 year old man and was brought to tears this morning when I read that Jason David Frank passed away and the circumstances surrounding his death.

This brings back memories of my brothers and me getting ready to watch Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and playing Power Rangers in our grandmother's yard.
No matter what color he wore, he was never defeated in battle.

I was a massive fan of the power rangers when I was a kid. Mr motivator on sat morning before they came on. I found out the day he died. I’m gutted. RIP

I think that Jason David Frank's influence is not gone. He was my mentor. And I still carry his teachings. He was the first that I told when I got my Autism diagnosis. And I'm grateful that in the movie that came out in 2017 they cast an autistic ranger. I understand that they wanna make a sequel and I'd love to be a part of it.
