For me its by faaaaar the hardest RE.
For my Resident Evil Zero is harder than Code Veronica. The inventory management and the leach zombies are a pain in the ass.
I had no problem with any of the remakes, except 1.
Outbreak games were extremely hard for me.

Only time I ever had to give up on a RE game was the Airplane fight on Code Veronica. I did the literal exact same thing. One save file. Not enough ammo to beat the Tyrant.

The Tyrant plane fight in CV was terrible. I had no ammo thanks to the first fight and no room to maneuver around. I had to start a new game and conserve all my grenade rounds and gun powder arrows.
Resident Evil Directors cut hands down. its the game for ppl that are like I played the original 3 but they're not hard enough…
the game likes to stuff more zombies in the rooms, more hunters and the game has a mario maker level of why did they do it this way feel.
i would normally say code veronica but my sister feels compelled to destroy CV like every year or two and i watched her play a round where she forgot the gernade launcher "

I’ve died countless times to RE3R’s final boss because of the tempo of his attacks. Nemesis purposefully does a few fast attacks then delays the next one so if you early dodged you’re dead

To me resident evil 0 and 1 were the hardest for me
Man. You really need to keep your audio levels in check. The music featured in that last RE CV sequence nearly deafened me. Way too loud. The perceived loudness of the VO parts should match the perceived loudness of the music/effects parts. The should blend into each other, without having a huge variation in amplitude. Use your ears. Trust me, I've mixed sound professionally for years. Still it was a good video and I enjoyed it.
