The Underground tunnels are only in Disneyworld. Walt Disney had it designed so Cast Members can travel to their designated attractions without being onstage to spoil the illusion. You can't have a Pirate walking through Main Street to get to Pirates of the Caribbean. In California we have a lot of backstage alleys to make our time onstage as minimal as we travel across the park to our destination. I'm not sure about the China, Japan, and Paris parks though but California doesn't have a tunnel system
