It was real nice how Sylvester Stallone shared his thoughts on his instagram account when Carl Weathers passed away, a great man and actor who will be missed but will live on forever through his works in Star Wars, Predator, the Rocky franchise and all his other works.
RIP Carl Weathers. Another iconic role he played and it should have been an honorable mention on the list, is when he played Police Chief Hampton Forbes on the tv show In The Heat Of The Night.

He was great in The Shield, one of the best TV shows ever made.
His best, most sensitive and powerful performance was as Cullen Munroe in his own co produced remake for TV of the Defiant Ones. The original film starring Sidney Poitter inspired Carl to become an actor. Without doubt his very best performance. R.I.P sir
What about Chief Hampton Forbes from In the Heat of the Night when he sort of replaced Howard Rollins at the end of the series. I thought he was good in that as well. Theres been rumors of sequel series reboot. Had he lived, I would've loved to have seen him come back.
Its still hard to believe that he is gone he will not be forgotten

I'm Italian and , of course , I love , ROCKY , but I also always loved , Apolo : in the first film he was the Champion who gave a nobody a shot – and in the second film he was the Champion who had fought his best and yet was ridiculed by his fans and wanted to prove he was still the best – in the third film he was the warrior sage helping his former foe to find his way – and finally in the fourth film he was the old lion showing the jackals who he is ; going out on his own terms and showing his friend the way of the warrior
