Now we did not share our list before hand so this video was super fun to film as we got to see what each other thought! Was there a lot of crossover? Well, let’s find out!

Question of the day: What was your favorite games of 2022? What did you play and love most?
Yes the video we have been waiting for. Great set of games on each list. I never really pay attention to when games come out. Most time's i find out about them from Youtube video's like yours about new games or games i would like to try out. I will say we really enjoyed Paladins and Abyss. Paint The Roses was also fun. It's a Wonderful World, Aeons End, Carcassonne were some of the new games we played this year.

Ark Nova was our most played at 9 plays. It has definitely moved into my top 10 games of all time. We received First Rat mid-December and have played it 4 times already so its my sleeper/surprise pick of 2022.
I only played two games from 2022 but they are my favorite at the moment, Ark Nova and Caper Europe 😊 I think Planet Unknown would be one of my favourite too if I can get my hands on a copy !
Loved your lists! I liked that you had some different ones 😊 I played Capers Europe and loved it. That maybe my only played game from 2022. I also loved playing Summer Camp, Fort, Parks, Blitzkrieg and Guilotine. Hope you have a wonderful 2023!!😊
So cool to see Downtown Farmers Market! My favourite would likely be a tossup between Creature Comforts and The LOOP (with the new Fauxzilla expansion).

Sadly, I have played no new games this past year. However, Tylor, when I was in high school, I used to go fishing almost every day. I would sit on the river bank and watch river otters play!!!!
I love games with panorama, so Wayfarers is a must check out.
Most played of 2022. Six, Azul, Paperback, Cribbage, and For Sale. Favorites of year Bullet Heart/Star and Marvel United.
Very fun lists! definitely a few games on there that I need to try out like Verdant & Keystone (still on the fence regarding Dead Reckoning). My top 10 from this year (based on solo plays): Carnegie, Ark Nova, Great Western Trail 2nd edition, Wayfarers of the South Tigris, Endless Winter: Paleoamericans, Encyclopedia, Isle of Cats Explore & Draw, Lacrimosa, Three Sisters & Wingspan Asia.
Ark Nova was by far my most played game in 2022. I love it. I'm looking forward to playing Wayfarers of the South Tigris soon too. Garphill Games are always a hit with me.
We still haven’t played our Lacrimosa or Wayfarers, but I’ve read the rulebooks for both – so hopefully this weekend!!
We love Verdant too.

Awesome lists. Ive played no 2022 except for Azul Queens Garden which is absolutely amazing. On my wish list is Keystone and Farmers Market game, and I'm yet to get Vivid Memories to the table yet. Im also thinking I would like Decorium too.

2022 was the year my wife and I got into the hobby and started our collection, so pretty much everything was new to us. Some stand outs were Hadrian's Wall, Obsession, and Scout. I've seen Turing Machine on so many lists this year, has me very interested.
I didn't play 10 2022 releases yet… but Wonderland's war is in there.
I like your list of games! I just recently learned and taught Lacrimosa, and I really enjoyed it. I have Wayfarers set up on my table right now. My friend introduced me to it, and I immediately bought it.
Great list, we just did a new to us last similar to last year. We still don't get that many new games played each year excluding KS previews.
Too great lists, thank you! What an amazing variety of games. I think my top three that I've played and loved this year have been Akropolis (very clever little multilayer tile laying game), Autobahn (wonderfully thematic route building and pick up and deliver game with deliciously tense choices in the card play) and Wonderlands War (drop dead gorgeous art and production and just an explosion of fun!) Endless Winter, Mosaic and Marvel Dice Throne are up there as well. There are still some I haven't got to yet, including Wayfarers, Tiletum and ISS Vanguard. So. Many. Games! 😀
We might have a crossover or two…still working on our lists! Not Ark Nova though….ours is still sealed on the shelf. :/
