  1. Root totally fits the theme, to the point of using it as your countdown cards! x)

Photosynthesis by Blue Orange Games is a game with multiple tree colors per player and I feel totally fits the vibes of the rest of the list. You're just a bunch of trees, collecting sunlight! And putting the other players trees in shade 🙂

  2. Creature Comforts has become one of our group's favorites. It's so incredibly cozy and adorable. It sort of fills the same desires as Everdell in terms of worker placement, but without any direct take-that gameplay that can lead to a bit too much competitive gameplay. Great for thematic play (crafting socks in combination with boots for example), and for point-gaining play by optimizing crafting of comforts.

    Would highly recommend to anyone!

  3. One game that would have been a great addition to this list is Meadow. It has more of a spring theme, but it’s got all the cozy art with the animals and nature that fits the vibe of these other games.

  4. Indian Summer is my least favorite out of that particular series. It's good, but Cottage Garden and Spring Meadow are better.

EDIT: However, Indian Summer has the best table presence. It's gorgeous and perfect for Fall.
