  1. I first discovered Blink-182 in high school and absolutely loved albums like "Neighborhoods" "Untitled" & "Nine" (the latter of which was the newest album they put out at the time), but I always wondered would Tom Delonge ever rejoin the band, because his voice and guitar work always stood out. Now I'm so happy to see them all together again and having friendly encounters. This single ROCKS OUT!!!!!! And I'm excited to see what the new album sounds like.

  2. I don’t know that I’d call Matt Skiba’s exit from the band graceful, unless there’s been something else about it.

Last thing I heard was a fan asked him if he was still in Blink, and he responded “your guess is as good as mine.” That just leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth. I’m still torn whether or not to try and get tickets when they come to my city because goddamn I’d love to see Travis Barker kill it on drums in person. (And Nine is SO underrated. Holy shit.)

The single’s… okay. I might have to listen to it more than once to really make a full opinion of it. It’s a safe single to put out, to be sure, cause it sounds like old school Blink but I guess I’d rather have a song that really showcases how they’ve grown as musicians.

  3. just my opinion but i feel like travis isnt drumming or is finding it hard to drum as hard as he used to. obviously due to his age also because of his physical condition over the years.

  4. Tom has always been my favorite and it’s been bitter especially after his second departure.. I loved Matt stepping in. I wish they could’ve been a four member group now. I’m glad Tom did give him a sincere thank you because he deserves it. I’m glad Tom is back. I hope there isn’t a third departure. At least for the tour for the Nine and California songs, Matt should be there. But oh well I’m done being bitter lol I swear I’m happy their back! I enjoyed the song!

  5. Not what I personally would've expected from their huge comeback single with Tom, but I still find it a pretty solid listen ❤. Plus I'm mostly just happy to finally hear Mark and Tom's voices on the same song again 😅

  6. With Blink being my favorite band of all time im Ecstatic that they are back with Tom. Cant wait to see the original line up live as its been a good 10 years since they toured with that line up in the UK. in regards to the single it was classic blink but there are questions to where the album is going to go as surely it cant just be 12 same sounding to edging. Nevertheless im excited

  8. The song is ok, I loved to hear Mark and Tom together again, but yes, I was expecting even more from this return, I hope the full album shows better songs (: Saludos desde México, siempre me gusta escucharte 🇲🇽🔥🤘🐰

  9. I'm soooooo happy they're back but this song was pretty disappointing. It sounds like the worst parts of Neighborhood where they're trying to recapture their early days. I wish they'd get back to their Self Titled sound

  10. Travis is still a beast, but yeah, his drum tone (not just in this song, but for the past few years now), feeling a lot drier and more fattier, while still sounding nice, just can't compare to his more vibrant, really higher and crackier tone he was known for (Neighborhoods may very well have featured his best work yet). Artistic choices maybe but eh, times change.

The song, while not amazing or anything, still feels like a really natural gelling of the two sides of Blink. Mark & Travis' ethos of the successful pop punk styles that inspired so many, and Tom's more synth-laced tendencies from AVA, alongside his ear for hooks. It's basically a more modern Neighborhoods track I'd say, just with more emphasis on the light-heartedness of course.

Nonetheless, ever since I discovered and fell in love with Blink back in 2015-2016, just in middle school, they're a band I'll forever credit as getting me back into picking up a guitar. A band that pretty much seemed to appeal to everyone, and would only mature (for the most part of course) and evolve their sound as the years went on. They've grown to mean a lot to me, Tom is an inspiration, and I never thought I'd end up living to see the day the classic lineup came back. Hope the album slams!

  11. Edging is a solid track, but I think for Tom's first song back with the band they should have released something more epic and anthemic with a long intro like Carousel, Dumpweed or Anthem Part 2.

  12. I'm happy for Blink fans that the classic lineup is back, and the song seems OK. I hope that Tom is more invested than last time, when he was wearing Angels and Airwaves t-shirts while playing Blink shows.

My concern is that takes a tragedy, whether Travis' airplane crash, or Mark's cancer diagnosis, to inspire these reunions, and I wonder whether Tom's interest will start to wane, playing music that hasn't evolved in the last 25 years or so.

  13. Matt threw shade on Tom in interviews while he was in Blink. As a replacement, he sure felt comfortable thumbing his nose. Good riddance. That Matt Skibba era is lackluster. This is coming from a fan that actually bought California and enjoyed some moments from it. But, everyone is glad Tom is back.

  14. The new song never really opens up for me…I wouldn't say it's bad though. Who knows how long this lineup will last…Tom also really likes his ufo stuff. Hopefully its not just for money….
