TOM BRADY WILL RUIN HIS LEGACY AS A BROADCASTER

As a quarterback, Tom Brady dominated the NFL like no other. But stepping into the broadcast booth is a whole different ballgame. I’m diving deep into why I believe his transition might not go as smoothly as expected. From the pressures of live analysis to the inevitable comparisons with other greats, Brady might be setting himself up for a challenge that could tarnish his untouchable legacy.

  1. Best thing for Brady‘s broadcasting career is for people to count him out. There’s a lot of Brady haters out there, but the second he says something a good about their quarterback they’re gonna love him.

  2. I understand you like to put out content regularly…. But these type of topics ain’t it…
Who you reaching out to? The retards of America…. Nobody thinks this about Brady. Even if you hate him.

  3. Tom has ALWAYS dodged talking about things that will make him unpopular. He's Mister Say Nothing, a master of it, gives you platitudes and nothing-burgers at every meal, and to me this is exactly the opposite of somebody like Rex Ryan or some broadcaster like Tony Romo who is willing to say unpopular things. Tom is up against 45 years of programming in his head and he needs a lot of psychotherapy before he can shoot from the hip. He was to undo all that popularity bullshit.

  4. Hell Naw. Regardless he the Goat. Also for some reason he gets his kicks off that grind. Most people hate the minutia of really anything, but for some reason, Tom Btady excels at those details so he will be fine at the end of the day.

  5. Many believe that Brady's intellectual sharpness (not any specific physical traits) was his standout trait as a player. However, that same sharpness didn't carry over to the broadcast booth. I anticipated more insightful analysis from him, but he delivered only rudimentary observations that most fans can easily recognize on their own. If he doesn't provide anything beyond the basic analysis, people may begin to doubt his mental capabilities and intellectual sharpness and his status as the GOAT could come under scrutiny. But it is still early and he does deserve more time to “prove” himself in the booth. Also – not to take anything away from the 7 rings but football is a far too team oriented sport to attribute wins and Super Bowls to one player even if that player is the QB.

  6. I would have liked for Tom to transition to a more worldwide figure! You know, kiss babies, advocate peace, feed the children type stuff! That's why guys like Ali stand out! LeBron will probably attempt once he hangs it up but I would like to see Tom take that step personally! Thanks!

  8. I guess I will be the guy who agrees with you. I never thought listening to Brady talking was that interesting. And do fans watch a game for the commentator? If so that is sad. The game is on the field but since sports is now just a form of entertainment and not about the athletic competition and the networks are all about making money from advertisers maybe paying Brady all this money will work out.

  9. Emmitt Smith tried broadcasting. He wasn't great. Eric Dickerson wasn't great as a sideline reporter. Magic Johnson wasn't great as a color commentator. I don't think any of those guys legacies have been hurt. They are just funny blips. You can take away what they did on the field/court and to fans of the game, that's what we'll remember most.

  10. What the fuck are you talking about? You think this White God is going to ruin his legacy? Are you for real? He got caught cheating multiple times did I mention he’s white? Lol him cheating didn’t ruin his legacy nothing will and he’s white. It will never be ruined.

  11. Dude!
When you have someone talking on your video are you going to let them talk or just continue to talk while they are talking and we don't even know what they said because you are bumping your gums!
We can't listen to 2 people talking at the same time. As bad as Brady sucked you sucked just as bad talking over people during the Boomer…surprising because normally your an A plus.

  14. Even before he started took the job. I just think he's too big for the job. I don't know why he took it. It doesn't make any sense if you could still be in the game without broadcasting it, do what Pete Manning does just get a show. Talk about the games I don't know. This seems beneath him in a layer and plus he doesn't have a good voice. If you ever listen to Tom Brady, his voice doesn't translate to me. TV is just something about it.
I get the money. It's very hard to turn down that kind of cash but sometimes don't do something that's gonna kind of I have people look at you in a different way
