The thing everyone is failing to mention is that the play before was CLEAR pass interference on the Falcons and the refs missed it. It would have out the bucs around the 25. They could have been trying to make up for it.

bad calls like this will lead to the defensives just teeing off on the QBs again. your going to get a penalty anyway, might as well get bang for your buck

Tua was hurt by the same type of hit. We knew there was going to be an emphasis on concussions and hits that could cause one. Last week, this call doesnt happen.
I don't believe it's fixed, but it is rigged. NFL is about two steps from becoming the WWE.
The NFL will now institute a new rule. Before initiating any contact, all players on defense now have to ask, in a nice and respectful tone: "Mr Brady, may I sack you please?".

That’s one of the worst calls I’ve ever seen.
"Save Tampa from loss." Um they were up 6 w/ 2 min left vs a team that is a run-first offense & would have had to drive the field.

this was almost Identical sack on Tua by the Bengals and Tua got slammed a lot harder and there was no flag. I feel bad for most of these defensive players now, they are supposed to stop on a dime and not touch a QB. Its a joke, there's a huge difference between hitting a QB late and hitting a QB just after he releases the ball. Its not dirty its football and they have to be allowed to play the game. I had said at the time of the Tua sack that if that was Brady there would have been flags all over the field, week later and here we are lol

Every other week they should have "no fine" games where you can actually hit a MF without the fear of being fined or ejected just the penalty and keep it moving.
Now talk about the play immediately before that, Pat. Everyone can agree the call on Jarrett was bad but Boger and his crew also didn’t call a clear DPI on the guy who mugged Scotty Miller way downfield that should have been the call that iced the game.
Just put flags on everyone and call it flag football already. If you can't tackle by any means without a flag then just get rid of the tackle part all together. Tua suffered a mortal Kombat brutality and no flag but throw grandpa Brady gently on the floor and it's the worst hit anyone has seen. Majority of these games come off as rigged because there's also play calling that takes away any chance of a comeback or they call it all on one team while occasionally calling it for the other team
That was a definite bs call from the ref and the falcons should have won that game

I'm sorry but if a 360 degree body slam of a quarterback in the pocket who just covered up and didn't try to get away ISN'T roughing the passer?? What is???? I've seen lesser sacks called 1000x and I've seen receivers get unsportsmanlike conduct calls 5000x for less than that.

It’s CRAZY that in the press conference, Brady simply says.. I don’t throw the flag. No, but you sure as hell walked up to the ref and complained until the flag was thrown! Makes no difference my guy!!
The frustrating part is there was multiple identical plays made this week without a flag
