Hello John great videos Love learning and watching your videos about Japan. But, I got an question. Does Japan celebrate thanksgiving and Christmas and if so how do you/they celebrate? What do they eat on those holidays??
Quite a nice street view, and that mascot's a lot less scary than the Melon one.
The Yamanote line got me back to my hotel many nights after "exploring" Tokyo on my own. It has a special place in my heart. You should get us a Yamanote line map t-shirt for the OIJ crew.

I used to live between Ohsaki and Shinagawa Stations in Kita-Shinagawa. It was great 20 years ago and still looks great.

Yamamote line was the very first train route we learned to navigate in Tokyo since more than 20 years ago
i imagine when john went on the boat in one of his series he was like many others about where the metal comes from to make the boats ,and how it had to be .,l melted down and then put into the shapes needed and of the great minds that put together the making of these boats
