  1. Maybee you could sell logs in exchange for time? Sort of and IOU type thing. For example:
Buy one stack of logs and pay with 1 minute of sand shoveling for Doc.

And eventually you just call everyone into one epic Egypt themed sand mining session, where hermits shovel an entire desert for you as you just enjoy the sla… labor. Perfectly agreed upon labor.

  2. As a German I am disappointed by the Hermits not following the rules for the collective shops. I thought there would be a terracotta, glass shop with all the Hermits with collective permits all coming together to make one big "glass shop"

  3. Okay so you can get around 64 diamonds in a hour, and can get 20 shulka boxes of sand in a hour. so 3.2 shulka boxes equal 1 diamond. Others are selling 6 stacks of materials for one diamond so any price under 3 shulka boxes of sand is a fair price and you can throw in the free shulka boxes as how else are they meant to collect the sand without being provided shulka boxes and whos to say how many shulka they "think" they might need. maybe they think they need 10 but turns out they only have time to fill out 2, would be annoying to ask for shulkas back so might as well let them keep the spares. So I would honestly price them 2 shulkas per 9 stakes or 3 shulkas of sand for 1 shulka of logs. Also takes about 3 minutes to fill up a shulka box while it takes like maybe an hour or more to fill a shulka box with trees logs so 1 to 2 shulkas is a great price. I'd make it 1 as you getting the trees is much easier and no one would be charging 1 shulka of sand for 1 diamond thus you will have the market cornered. Also these numbers are estimated so anyone giving corrections is appraited.

  4. Spruce I'll just jump in top of a 4×4 and chop it down with my efficiency 5 axe in no time. IMO, easier than sand because it's renewable and you don't have to find an untouched desert.

Jungle is a bit more painful because you have to clear out the branches on your way down but still not bad.

All other wood types are more of a pain because you have to chop down multiple trees to get a whole stack. Even dark oak is a pain just because the trees are so small and there aren't many leaves to get your saplings from.

  5. You know the way this is going, we've had Grian start wars before I think it's time Doc started a war, the franchise war!
Or since the movie came out recently you could change the name and instead of sand call it spice. So many logs for regular sand and red sand is spice so it's more valuable.

  6. Efficiancy 5 mining
16 logs for 1 stack of sand (64 sand): This roughly translates to the same amount of time spent breaking logs compared to shoveling a stack of sand. (16 logs * 0 seconds/log) vs (1 stack of sand * 32 seconds/stack)

Even higher exchange rate: You can exchange at an even higher rate in your favor (e.g., 32 logs for 1 stack of sand) if sand is readily available and chopping logs takes more time due to other factors like needing to travel to find trees.

  7. What if you made some sort of competing safety standard office, like being the fire marshal? things like the office not having a working exit/entrance could mean they'll get shut down! oh no!
