Basically lived glued to my laptop watching The Mist, Eight legged freaks on repeated, as well playing the last of us and reading Lord of the flies. All elements of those personal favourites will be obvious when it comes to the storyās and monsters inspos !
This is probably my best horror story to date, in my opinion. I hope you all enjoy!
Ps: Wolf Lake final ever episode has been written and submitted! Which is part 3 of the crossover. Part 4 shouldnāt be too long till itās done either!
Now this is what you call a story
28 Days Later ripoff…
Sounds like the mist the old movie this story was so good tho
Is this story on Spotify if it is I canāt find it
By far my most favorite story out of them all 2nd is the war in the Olympic mountains and 3rd is ima monster created by the government to kill other monsters.
That ending was SOLID. Well written
I'm heartbroken, I felt like I personally new all of Luke's friends and everytime someone died (Other than Johnny and his minions) I actually cried.
It this happened in real life they would probably be after eating too much and killing themselves
listened to this at the end of my overnight shift, 10/10

This should be a movie
The cackle that came out of me when the bullies hit their vapes
TO THINK THE SCP FOUNDATION WAS INVOLVED
Just listened to this story today, bloody brilliant had me engaged the whole time, I normally listen to short story crypts encounters but holy this one blew me outta the water. Brilliant work mate š

Loved the sci fi reveal at the end. š I won't spoil it tho
Why is the thumbnail a picture of S.T.A.L.K.E.Rš¤£
Atleast the scp foundation didn't give them amnestics
Listening to this a few times; I have to wonder how Weinstein got the keys to the jeep since it was initially stated that DJ had the keys.
What an amazing story. Great villains and an importantly interesting plot. I'd love a video game on this!
Where can I read the story?
IMO THIS IS THE ABSOLUTELY BEST STAND-ALONE STORY EVER. There are series stories which are better because they're series stories, but this is the best STAND-ALONE story EVER
this story is great he needs to make read more stories like this
Rest in peace to Mcgreggorš
I really love this story! The protagonist is likable, the story engaging, and the conflict harrowing. There were so many amazing standout characters in this story! If I could give one bit of criticism, though, itās that the female characters were pretty weak. They were all basically passive damsels and I wouldāve liked to see a bit more female heroism. However, itās still a great story and I applaud your work. Just something to think about for future references.
I decided to listen to this after a code red at my school⦠now Iām sitting in piss. š
Iām fine btw..
The story was gripping from beginning to end but I especially loved the ending
SCP we are taking care of the situation along with the agency taking care of SCP 354356
This story reminds me of the movie the mist
Kinda anti climactic that Johnny just gets implied carpet bombed off screen considering he was practically the central antagonist since the start of the story, especially when time was wasted giving two throwaway henchmen a elaborate death sequence.
Also funny that most people are like "THIS SHOULD BE A MOVIE" … like where do you think most of these ideas came from? I'm glad the author was upfront about his "Inspirations" but this teeters over the line of paying homage and straight into Plagiarism territory, and I dont think most people listening realizes just how much was directly lifted from those sources.
Not just The Mist and Eight Legged Freaks, but the story about the "Animal Rights Activists" breaking into a research facility in the boonies expecting to rescue "chimps with lipstick" only to cause biological experiment outbreak is lifted directly out of 28 Days Later.
And the only thing left after taking away all the direct movie references is just a bunch of cliches and stereotypes. Between the two dimensional psycho bully from a broken home, the pathetic but inappropriately inquisitive scientist, the hokey romance subplot with a milquetoast love interest that has barely any personality or agency in the story. Groundskeeper Will- I mean the totally original alcoholic irish janitor, the incompetent military unit, the token Bestie, the group of survivors turning into a histerical fascist murder cult because "Humanity was the REAL monster the whole time"
Man I dont know what you want me to say, There is literally zero originality in this entire story. by the time "SCP" showed up I didnt drop my jaw blown away, I rolled my eyes in disappointment at the last four hours I wasted.
Secure. Contain. Protect. They literally did NONE of that!š¤£
of course the scp foundation made an appearance at the end
4:23:30 OHHHHH YEAH!
LETS GOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
THIS IS IMPORTANT DOES BILLY DIE??? I HAVENāT BEEN LISTENING FOR LONG BUT HE SEEMS COOL and Sarah does she die? kinda hoping either she leaves or dies she definitely seems like the type to get more people killed than saved š
Don't mind me I'm laving this comment so I know what my time stamp was ā¤ļø 2:52:28
Amazing story!
Pretty much the mist lol
The scp was the best twist ever
The beginning id kinda similar to Shotgun Boy manwha
Really loving listening to you at moment..my autistic son is getting better sleep because of u..your calming voice and repetitive music..perfect.xx
Thatās one thing you donāt notice in zombie movies they donāt gain weight
Hurry up remember there gonna make a movie out of this ..I first heard it in 2019..js pre pan js I remember. But now new story….hmmm js
This story sounds like it was inspired by Stephen Kingās The Mist. And by that I love it especially with how itās different but still similar š
amazing story great job on this
The intro was pretty slow and I was going to click off but at a certain point I was in for four hours lol š
