  1. Feel privileged to have the record for longest standalone story on the channel šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Basically lived glued to my laptop watching The Mist, Eight legged freaks on repeated, as well playing the last of us and reading Lord of the flies. All elements of those personal favourites will be obvious when it comes to the story’s and monsters inspos !

This is probably my best horror story to date, in my opinion. I hope you all enjoy!

Ps: Wolf Lake final ever episode has been written and submitted! Which is part 3 of the crossover. Part 4 shouldn’t be too long till it’s done either!

  3. IMO THIS IS THE ABSOLUTELY BEST STAND-ALONE STORY EVER. There are series stories which are better because they're series stories, but this is the best STAND-ALONE story EVER

  4. I really love this story! The protagonist is likable, the story engaging, and the conflict harrowing. There were so many amazing standout characters in this story! If I could give one bit of criticism, though, it’s that the female characters were pretty weak. They were all basically passive damsels and I would’ve liked to see a bit more female heroism. However, it’s still a great story and I applaud your work. Just something to think about for future references.

  5. Kinda anti climactic that Johnny just gets implied carpet bombed off screen considering he was practically the central antagonist since the start of the story, especially when time was wasted giving two throwaway henchmen a elaborate death sequence.

Also funny that most people are like "THIS SHOULD BE A MOVIE" … like where do you think most of these ideas came from? I'm glad the author was upfront about his "Inspirations" but this teeters over the line of paying homage and straight into Plagiarism territory, and I dont think most people listening realizes just how much was directly lifted from those sources.
Not just The Mist and Eight Legged Freaks, but the story about the "Animal Rights Activists" breaking into a research facility in the boonies expecting to rescue "chimps with lipstick" only to cause biological experiment outbreak is lifted directly out of 28 Days Later.

And the only thing left after taking away all the direct movie references is just a bunch of cliches and stereotypes. Between the two dimensional psycho bully from a broken home, the pathetic but inappropriately inquisitive scientist, the hokey romance subplot with a milquetoast love interest that has barely any personality or agency in the story. Groundskeeper Will- I mean the totally original alcoholic irish janitor, the incompetent military unit, the token Bestie, the group of survivors turning into a histerical fascist murder cult because "Humanity was the REAL monster the whole time"

Man I dont know what you want me to say, There is literally zero originality in this entire story. by the time "SCP" showed up I didnt drop my jaw blown away, I rolled my eyes in disappointment at the last four hours I wasted.

  7. This story sounds like it was inspired by Stephen King’s The Mist. And by that I love it especially with how it’s different but still similar 😊
