Synopsis:

Her mother in these beginning episodes is so hard to take, I hope she gets better with Shaoshang because I want to just choke her right now. I loved the General's response.
The mother is a 🤬 in this episode. It's her opinion that she thinks so lowly about her daughter like that, but to shame her publicly and debase her character is another level of mean coming from a mother! They should think about it and then privately talk with the emperor about it later. But to do it in front of all those royals and plus in front of the mean girls no less.🤦♀️

That mom who keeps harping about decency and etiquette just threw her daughter to the wolves saying those thing in public. They could have accepted graciously then spoke to the royals in private. Now no one in the kingdom will want to marry their daughter.
Her parents are horrible. She needs to run away from them instead of going with them. They either want to never marry and be their maid or marry someone like a poor farmer.
Let's me real she feel her daughter would only ruin the family. Honestly I have nothing for the mother and less for the father given how he sees how the wife treats her and allows it to happen. find it ironic she takes in and treats kindly the the girl who's be so viscously treated by her own mother and yet treats her own daughter worse then the screw that is Yang Yang's Mother. Naio Naio will succeed at anything she tries by her own hand. The Mother threw her away from day one only to return and throw her away again and again…
You know that had to hurt Niao Niao just by gripping her dress and Ling Bu Yi looking at her was upset that her Mom could say mean things about her in his presence let alone the whole Palace heard every single word 😩
