I've been heavy into 40k since I was 10, which was over 2 decades ago now, and I absolutely refuse to accept GW's new lore about Titan sizes, 55 meters for a Imperator is frankly just WAYYY too small, for perspective that's just 16 stories tall, an average apartment flat, in the scale of 40k warfare that's barley even a noticeable presence in a large battle… These things are supposed to be able to level hive cities on their own, and even crack the crust of planets, literally destroying the world they stand on if there's enough of them firing at once, now they're not much more than a Knight…
You are well spoken. I enjoy these long format videos I'm learning alot.
Actually really disappointed that the sinistratum tenebrae is just an imperial d-cannon. In my head cannon I thought it was more like a culexus assassins animus speculum.
These things has abandonment issues
18:00 "Titans were equipped only with what is necessary to accomplish their task"
lol
I wonder how do you compare the titans with atlan from doom
brother grab the titan. the emperor class titan
4th Edition was pretty good overall. I started way back in 2nd Edition, aka Herohammer 40k. The scale of the battles was generally much smaller, and the models were smaller too – but even back then it was clear there was so much room for expansion. Back then we had Epic 40k being released around the same time, and we got to see Titans and just how massive they were compared to the largest regular 40k models were. The single largest model at that time was the Thunderhawk Gunship – which was immense, fully made of metal (you can imagine how inconvenient that was…) and cost a sensational £400 (aka, 40,000 UK pence) and was limited edition to boot.
If my young teenage mind could foresee 40k as it is now, my mind would have been blown.
The psy titan is the most gothic fucking thing I've ever heard of
Knights and Titans are my favs. I got into wh40k back when it was just Rogue Trader days. 1e. When Space marine came out I got that. 6mm scale infantry and tanks, then I grabbed Adeptus Titanicus 1e. Way better than standard 40k, then Epic (2e) came out. Got that. Even better. Epic is, to this day, the best game that GW ever put out. Eldar Titans are by far the best with the Eldar knights being the true origin of the Knight models. The Eldar Bright Stallion Knights being the single most effective unit that should ever be on the table top. It's a knight scale mini titan with a full power titan scale pulsar weapon. Titans should be the gods of the battlefield in 40k, but GW never can seem to get it right. marine and similar scale infantry shouldn't be able to do anything but surface damage to a titan.
How does the imperium transport titans to other planets?
Can't come to church? Well Church is coming to you…
no love to Warmaster Titan T_T
The Imperator Titan stems from a German word (Imperator)
The English translation of that would be…. Emperor.
So basically Emperor-class Emperor Titan.
what is that hair???
tiny weshammer: "wait they're real??"
the tau: "first time?"
the newest size estimates of the Imperator Titans is just disappointing and way too low. We have machines far bigger on earth already (The Bagger 288 being 96m tall and hundreds of meters long) which do not take anywhere near as long to construct as a titan. They should have kept the warlord titans atleast 50 meters tall and the Imperator Titans should be at least a hundred meters tall.
I fucking love the titans
I love how WesHammer's history with the Titans kinda mirrors the Tau's
Everyone talkin, until the church start walkin
55 meters isn’t that tall, like a 20 level building, why would it take a lot of resources to build a 55 meter tall machine when they have entire resource planets, none of the lore makes any logical sense lol
19:56 so wont the real slim titan please stand up
ARMORED CORE 4 Next and Lynx pilots… But on steroids 🤣
It’s all fun and games until the church comes to you
Looks like when liberty prime went through their goth phase lol
My God, a sponsor that's actually relevant to the actual video!
I'm so sick of RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS! and all those bloody VPNs interrupting what i'm watching.
Same goes for any ad tbh, it's why i have adblockers on my PC.
Horus Heresy trailer:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0Se57MuiL8
I want a movie or show adapting the Heresy that looks like this trailer.
13:20 Aww, that Dreadnought looks like a tiny child next to the Warlord Titan.
Were there ever any Imperator Class Titans that joined chaos that we actually know anything about?
im-PER-uh- tur. not a
Open to debate
So basically like Titans from Transformers combined with the cities of Mortal Engines?
the warlord titan doesn't need to take cover because he is the cover
My headcanon on the size of the titans is that the Titans described in the old lore were a mixed bag of Imperial propaganda and actual hundreds-of-meters tall titans whose construction blueprints/STCs were either lost or destroyed. Also, the Imperium is barely even a shadow of its former self, so perhaps even acquiring the resources needed to make a 100+ meter tall Titan is rendered virtually impossible.
you act like there weren't titans in 4th edition, while adeptus titanicus and space marine were out.
Kreigman will still charge them with a showel.
Drench the battle field in metric tons of water and watch them sink through from their weight.
I really appreciate this side of youtube so much. I've been working on my own universe since I was a kid, I've never shared anything but I hope to have fans as into the lore as you are to Warhammer. I love worldbuilding and personally Warhammer is my favorite of the universes. Dune comes 2cnd. Lovecraft mythos 3rd.
why not just start un screwing, grinding, and tearing the titans into there base part to create a STC? oh wait the Adeptus mechanicus exists
Xd game ad is late xd i already play legions near game started xd
Em-pera-tor
Excellent job btw bro, so glad u started doing these vids, ur a natural ma dude
🙂
STC: Why are you gluing guns on my walking crane
Wonderful mate, I'm glad I waited till I had a day to myself to enjoy this! Thanks for the content.
You are making me miss the old Epic 40k.
Honestly. Drop a hydrogen bomb. Same effect as titans but cheaper 😂
