As sad as it is to say. Unless they manage to fix the sub itself in that time, there is literally no way they are coming home. When the Kursk sank and had the same scenario I believe the men themselves where in shallower water than the titanic itself, this in turn meant divers could go and inspect life onboard. Even then the time it took to get a rescue submirsable to the Kursk took ages…. So then you think why not just figure out a way to raise the sub…. This in itself is also practically impossible…. When retrieving a large piece from the titanic itself… it took large balloons I believe and even then the lines snapped on the first attempt and a second attempt one was needed … this is almost likely going to go one way and I pray for their families who are gonna go throw immense pain
If it's stuck on the sea bed it'll be a future tourist attraction along with the Titanic wreck.

It seems they should at least thoroughly check the destination point of the missing sub’s mission, which is the Titanic wreckage site, so … Why not use the “Deepsea Challenger” sub (which took James Cameron safely to the Titanic wreckage many times), to survey that immediate area, and if the missing sub is found, free it if tangled, then attach a balloon cradle to it that can then be filled with compressed air to help raise it to the surface?
