Yes, there are plenty of large statues dedicated to 40k, I've seen some that are the size of actual space marines.

Really GW is a pretty crap company. Made a great ip but as a company they are the embodiment of an evil corporation at least for the consumer side.
But really 40k is a space opera and space operas don't do hard facts well. Like saying "the massive armys of man" sounds great but you put numbers on it GW tends to screw that stuff up. Like the biggest army ever deployed during the great crusade was apparently 300 million souls if I remember right which sounds like a lot but for fighting the largest ork civilization ever, that's comically small. Or a leman russ tank being about as effective as a WW2 tank in terms of speed and power.
….No there is no life size Titain. Nobody making a 400ft model. There is a life size Gundam though. Full 16m of it.

Yes there is a pilot in those things. A crew really. Helsreach shows an imperator class titain and her crew in action although there are more of them as that series is cut down from the book. So yes it has a sense of balance. But 1 thing he didn't get into and why kiju style mechs probably can't work is the cube square law. When you double someone's size you quadruple their mass. So a 5 foot 100 pound guy will weight 400 pounds if you just blew him up to 10 feet. Issue with that is the bones in him probably wont take that weight. So with giant mechs you need to figure out how to build them to support ungodly masses.
Personally I believe that titans should be around 180- 400 meters tall

You're new to the fandom, but GW has actually been getting criticized a LOT the last few years for being TOO vocal, too political, and giving away too much information, all without listening to feedback and criticism from the community. Which isn't exactly new, but it's become a sticking point of late for a lot of people.
As an example, they decided to NOT leave the Emperor's backstory a mystery. Instead they took the most popular theory, that being that the Emperor is an amalgam of hundreds of Psykers that killed themselves in ritualistic suicide before the dawn of human history to be reborn as a single entity. Then they gave the Emperor a name; Neoth. Then they told how the Emperor had an immortal wife named Erda who is over 50,000 years old and was arguably responsible for the entire Horus Heresy, causing the scattering of the Primarchs out of spite for the Emperor turning 'her children' into weapons. And now they're walking that lore back a bit because they realized they introduced Erda's character and her importance to the story too abruptly; I'm fairly certain her character wasn't even hinted at 5 years ago, but now she's supposed to be one of the most important characters in 40k and we've just never heard of her, and her being the reason for the scattering of the Primarchs also had the effect of sending the message that a woman was responsible for everything wrong in 40k today, which isn't a good look for trying to establish an important female character.
For reference, the Primarchs used to have multiple mothers, a group of women from various ethnic groups who were supposed to be egg donors for the Primarchs , explaining why the Primarchs had such varied ethnic inspirations, and these women were also intended to be their actual mothers, raising them in the Imperial Palace on Terra, only for the scattering of the Primarchs to blindside the Emperor, despite him apparently having knowledge about the scattering being a 'canon event' for 40k.
On that note, the scattering of the Primarchs was originally just Chaos managing to pull some Warp shenanigans, which was later clarified during the Horus Heresy series many years after the fact to be a time travel plot where elements of the Word Bearers Legion were sent back in time to cause the scattering of the Primarchs, creating a paradox.
On the matter of the Emperor himself, there were several possible origins for the Emperor that were explained away as possible theories for what and who he was and how he came to be, from the Emperor being a living God of Humanity, the amalgamation of hundreds of Psykers from Earth's prehistoric era, the last surviving Old One, a random mutant, an artificial human created during the Golden Age of Humanity, and one amusing theory that the Emperor is actually just a psychic projection of Malcador the Sigilite, the Emperor's right-hand man and closest friend.
Needless to say, GW was NOT content to leave things mysterious, and while revealing new plot elements or expanding on existing ones isn't necessarily a bad thing, they've received a LOT of criticism for rushing these creative decisions out the door.
Their most recent lore debacle was the sudden inclusion of female Adeptus Custodes into the lore, and while there is an entire political discourse to be had about whether or not GW was simply 'going Woke', I will instead focus strictly on the lore.
For context, rather than saying that female Custodes were a new addition to 40k, as in female Custodes were created circa 40,000 A.D. and are just a new thing, instead GW tried to gaslight the community by saying things like 'There have always been female Custodes' or rewording new Codex materials to omit the fact that the Custodes were exclusively recruited from the young men of Terra's noble houses. It also implied these female Custodians were recognizable as such, but were so unremarkable that their existence had gone unnoticed for over 10,000 years, which in my opinion goes to show just how poorly thought out the retcon really was that they didn't think about how they'd have to effectively rewrite the lore surrounding the Custodes and every time they appear or are mentioned to accommodate this change.
For greater context as to the wider issues at play with this in the context of 40k's established lore, while female Space Marines are currently dismissed as being impossible to create in lore since the Primarchs are all male and the Astartes conversion process is already exceedingly difficult for males with genetic compatibility to their associated Primarch, which is actually a real world thing because sexual dimorphism is a thing in humans and male-to-female and female-to-male organ transplants have a significantly higher chance of failure even when all other factors are ideal due to various biochemical and genetic deviations between males and females(I am serious, look it up, because it's a fascinating topic of medical science), female Custodians were a grey area in the lore because while they had historically been an entirely male faction that had only drawn from male recruits, Custodes are, contrary to most people's expectations, NOT Space Marines and do not adhere to a single overriding genetic template based on an individual like the Primarchs, being entirely custom supersoldiers rather than mass-producible knock-offs of the Primarchs, so there was technically no reason why female Custodes weren't a thing in lore beyond 'We have only used men thus far'.
I for one fell on the side of the argument where I did not care for how poorly implemented and shoehorned the retcons were, to the point where I felt personally insulted by GW's attempts to gaslight the community, but I was otherwise fine with the existence of female Custodes otherwise being a new addition to the lore going forward as I found it justifiable and a step towards the idea of converting the Sisters of Silence, an all-female faction of Blanks, into a full-on order of Blank Custodes, but GW has since seemingly backed off from the idea entirely and is no longer pushing female Custodes as a concept, in the past, present, or future of the 40k timeline.
Sorry if this got a tad too political, but this is part of what's going on in the hobby as of late, and while I try to be as apolitical and respectful as possible, focusing strictly on the lore and the game, it's difficult to completely divorce oneself from politics in the hobby when you have various groups on all sides constantly using said hobby as a political battlefield and wanting to drag in as many people as possible.
So on the topic of a Titan's sense of balance, yes they have a sense of balance. While it isn't 1:1, the Titan does give a certain degree of mental feedback approximating the sense of touch and equilibrium. There's actually speculation that the reason Titans, Knights, and Dreadnoughts need to be at least vaguely human is so that their design is more intuitive for the human mind to process as an extension of itself, which causes less cognitive dissonance, especially when some Knight and Titan pilots become so addicted to 'being' their mech that they cut their limbs off and permanently hardwire themselves into their machine for the rest of their life. Likewise, some Dreadnoughts have been in service for thousands of years, and it's noted that the more 'human' designs tend to be less mentally taxing on their occupant, as the approximation of a head, arms, and legs is noted to help the Space Marine deal with their confinement inside their life-support unit. This is presumably why Dreadnoughts, Knights and Titans all have 2 legs instead of wheels, treads, repulsor jets or any other system ; the human brain is designed to operate two legs and only two legs, not internally calculate what direction two motors need to be going and at what speed or what the ideal angle of levitation is.
I should also note that part of the reason Titans are relatively slow and lumbering is because the pilot has to try and maintain their balance and footing. Even Chaos, Eldar, and Tyranid Titans or their equivalents are noted to be more sluggish than one would expect due to their size and the logistics of their own locomotion.
And then you have Ork Titans, which kind of just do whatever they want. Some have legs, some have treads, some waddle like penguins, and some pivot on their feet in impossible ways like a toy soldier with no movable leg joints and a flat base anchored to its feet trying to walk…
Fun fact in Space Marine 2 there an emperator titan but you could easily miss it thinking its a mountain or a massive cathedral if you dont notice the legs

This has always annoyed me about GW. Frigging set the sizes! I love titans and other big mechs. But a 40m/120ft tall bot is NOT a TITAN! It's just a big mech. At 120m/450ft is, that is Titanic! Ie BIG!
