TIRES VS. TRACKS! Almost Spent The Night In The Mountains.

This year has been a weird one for the lack of snow in BC. We set out to one of the only places we knew would have snow and that we are allowed to drive. With the light snow comes problems for tracks as they’re not able to float on top and are susceptible to obstacles that lay below.
I have a lot of experience with heavy equipment tracks and getting them back on but this is my first time being around light duty tracks for standard motor vehicles. We all learned a lot and will be heading back out to test them out more! Please consider subscribing to help grow my channel and make more of these trips and videos possible!

  2. Well watching from my armchair here in Penticton I think them tracks can stay in Mission at the dealer’s lot ! At leastBruce you brought the appreciate vehicle for task , NICE . As for buddies power problem you may just hang a tire off the front of yours and help up the hills πŸ˜‚ it’s A Jeep thing πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Thanks for taking us a long πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘/10

  3. Nice videos. Did you guys get the tj fixed? We had one do something similar to that and everywhere said cats, wiring, crank or cam sensor etc. ended up being the throttle position sensor… good luck.

  4. I'm amazed at how well the Tires jeep did in that snow. I've flipped my tracks even with limiting chains by hitting a downed tree under the snow. Getting the tension right is huge.

  5. Awesome vid! Very cool to see a bit more behind the scenes compared to Shaun’s vid! The comparison of tracks vs tires is the cool part

  6. I cannot overstate..There was no way we would have gotten out the same night if not for Bruce, Denny, and Deon. These are solid guys, and a crew I'd be happy to adventure anywhere with. This was certainly a challenging stuck, but the jokes, one liners and can do attitudes carried all the way through to the very end. πŸ™Œ
