why in the world would the wind farm areas needs to be cordoned from fishing?
the article doesn't even attempt to explain.
any area "protected" would naturally end up being bursting with fish as it would become a safe haven for them, thus fishing would need to be resumed one way or another, forcing as discovery of safe means to fish while minimizing the risk to windfarms, so may as well get that figured out from the get go. instead of taking those areas away from fishing industry
Plenty of oil and gas but that requires a desire to get too it. Wind will be ok in this area because there is a lot of wind. The problem is when wind isn’t enough. Batteries are not clean to manufacture nor are they easily recycled.
In the meantime cost of electricity skyrockets.

Offshore windfarms are extremely destructive to whales and dolphins. The loud thumping that echos through the ocean for miles is so traumatic that it causes them to beach themselves.
Why don't people just relocate industries that require massive amounts of electricity next to these wind turbines. For example a smelting works.

Installing wind turbines in 1-2 years sure bets oil. The ConocoPhillips, Willow project, $8 Billion, was started this spring. First oil is project in 2029.
They should be taking full advantage of their oil and gas resources in Scotland as well. It generates the money needed to pay for wind farms, energy storage, and undersea cables between Norway and Scotland.

Good feel good video kinda like saving "A"coral reefs and the spotted owl, now you can attempt to make a video for very uncertain future of the rest of world and the inhibitable suffering we are to endure as are species attempts to compromise globally 😂 so we de carbonize sooner but we will endure suffering sooner compromising developed nations for undeveloped + india, Or we wait, this will bring undisputed suffering throughout the world but in general we dont know how bad certain place will get but we know its gunna get worse, the tragedy/triumph may be the choice rather than the event as we would as species collectively agree for the first time….ever….😢…..so fits the narrative that the earth will become un inhabitable or become a wasteland for next generations if we dont make this choice now 😤
so as a balanced opinion: the choice to suffer could cause certain groups to reject the change after others have already endured….resentments will be felt and if empowered the suffered grouped could force the "confederates" back in line….conflicts should be expected, this leading to marginally more suffering….so its a question of sovereign exclusion and how to its handled that will bring us to fight ….and its my belief that major conflicts are all avoidable in the context of the observer…..but never the participants….but nobody wants hear it they just the idea of paradise without suffering as castaways…..
