Question for the comunity, is actualy Chiron better than a Abyss soldier as a 1X tech in control deck. I know that the combo serpent+abyss is very strong but also very situational, Chiron in other hand can garantee a clear field to attack.
What do you guys think?
Great upload. Shoutout to Max Suffridge. RIP to him… he had a hiking accident and fell to his death in Red River Gorge… Just an hour from where I live. Don't know many details beyond that, and never met him in person… crazy to see how his deck still continues to carve out The current meta of goats… it seems players like JCVD93 is channeling some of these traditional tactics.
max is somewhat related to how i stopped playing card YGO. max joined me, rob morgan, and andrew hayton on a road trip to SJC hamilton.
max and hayton played in round 1 both ended up dropping, rob morgan got banned, and i lost my deck the night before when max bought us beer and my 16yo ass got wasted. i think one of vincent tundo's friends stole it. horrible tourney from our car. not a single one of us even finished the tourney. cant imagine a group of 4 had a worse outcome from the weekend, maybe any weekend in SJC history

Max was an incredible human being. He was not just a top notch player, he was a top notch human being and was always willing to help people with their game. I was fortunate to be on his team and share many memories with him. Alpha Omega for life.

I'm proud to have been friends with Maxx. Top 8 2005 nats was stacked. Top 4: Maxx, Me, Jerry Wang and Bryan Cornel. Top 8 included: Eric Davis, Brent Yetter, Rhymus Lizo. I became good friends with Maxx after nats and during WORLDS. Maxx took the spy and guard idea from Sang Boi.

It really irks me when people display poor sportsmanship. I'm garbage at this game but I'll never tilt so hard I quit a duel.
RIP Max. A truly brilliant young man, gone too soon. The way he approached the game was truly special and certainly shaped the way we still play today.
